Today’s Men’s Group was very interesting and educational! We learned about the historic Busey Family Homestead, built in 1860. The home was donated by Simeon Busey and his family to Urbana Memorial Hospital. We also discussed the many rivers that flow through Illinois. Trivia is more than just entertainment—it helps seniors exercise their memory, improve concentration, encourage conversation, and strengthen social connections. It also brings back special memories, builds confidence, and keeps the mind active.

We had a wonderful time visiting the Museum of the Grand Prairie in Mahomet! The exhibits brought back so many special memories for our residents. They enjoyed sharing their stories and amazed us with how much they knew about the displays. It was both educational and heartwarming to watch them step back in time and reminisce together.
