Join us at Addington Place of Rantoul on October 31st for an afternoon filled with fall fun, sweet treats, and wonderful opportunities to connect with our residents! 🧡

🍬 Bring the whole family for our version of Trick-or-Treat, where you can visit festive activity stations, enjoy a little fun at each stop, collect some treats, and make special memories along the way! After exploring the stations, join us in our Four Seasons Room to socialize and enjoy refreshments and sweet treats. 🍩🍎

🍁 Not a fan of scary Halloween events? You're in the right place! Our festival is all about celebrating the joys of fall, with absolutely nothing scary! Cheerful, family-friendly costumes are encouraged. We're keeping it festive, fun, and fright-free!

Music, Memories & Good Times 🎸

Twice a month, we’re delighted to welcome Bill G at Addington Place for an afternoon filled with music, memories, and good times. His familiar face and wonderful sound bring our community together, creating a special opportunity for residents to relax, enjoy themselves, and share in the moment.

We’re so grateful for the talented members of our community who generously share their gifts with our residents. Thank you, Bill, for another wonderful music hour—we always look forward to your visits! 🎶

☕ A Little Coffee & Conversation at Addington Place! 📰

Reflecting on our morning at Addington Place of Rantoul. It began with a warm cup of coffee & good company, then finished with our Daily Chronicles reading. Residents enjoyed taking time to gather, catch up on the day’s news, and share in a little conversation along the way.

It’s often the simplest moments that make the day special, and we’re always glad to have time to slow down, connect, and enjoy each other’s company. ❤️

One More Taste of Warm Weather! 🌸

With the sun still shining like summer, our MC residents weren’t quite ready to let those bright summer colors go just yet! We spent some time creating one last cheerful flower craft inspired by all the beauty this season has brought us.

This wasn’t your ordinary flower project, either. We used unconventional materials to build our flowers and added layers that made them pop right off the page in a fun 3D effect. Everyone had a chance to experiment with texture, shape, and color while putting their own little touch on their creation.

Just because the seasons are starting to change doesn’t mean we have to say goodbye to summer quite yet! ☀️ We’re happy to soak up every last bit of sunshine and color while we can. See you next season summer!

Bingo, but make it fancy! ✨

Our MC residents had a wonderful time putting a special twist on one of their favorite activities with Fancy Bingo! We set the tables with an elegant touch, turned on some soft, classic music, and created an atmosphere that felt a little more special than our everyday Bingo.

For a little while, the room had the feel of a cozy lounge—quiet music in the background, beautifully set tables, and our residents gathered around with their Bingo cards ready to go. It was such a simple change, but it transformed the feeling of the afternoon and gave everyone a chance to enjoy a familiar favorite in a brand-new setting.

Sometimes, it’s the little details that make an ordinary afternoon feel special. We loved watching our residents settle in, enjoy the atmosphere, and make Fancy Bingo their own. 💕🎉

Jar You Ready for Fall? Because we are!🍁

Our residents spent the afternoon creating their own fall jars—little seasonal pieces they can enjoy and keep as a reminder of the season. Lots of seasonal touches and plenty of creativity. It was a simple and sweet way to welcome the season, spend time together, and make something special to enjoy. However they choose! 🤎🧡

Addington Awards! 🏆✨

Acknowledging what makes our residents so special is important, and what better way to do that than with an award show dedicated entirely to them!

We celebrated the personalities, talents, humor, kindness, and little quirks that make each resident one of a kind. There was plenty of laughter, applause, and well-deserved recognition as our residents took their turn in the spotlight.

Because every one of them deserves to be celebrated! ❤️
