Today was a special day at Black Hills Center for Aging as our guests enjoyed an outing to Crazy Horse Memorial, thoughtfully planned by our amazing care team.

For several of our guests, this was their first visit in many years, making the experience especially meaningful. We are grateful for opportunities to reconnect our participants with places that hold special memories while creating new ones together.

A big thank you to our incredible team for making this possible!❀️

The heat wave we are experiencing might be uncomfortable- but it poses an extreme danger to our friends and loved ones who have dementia.

Take extra precautions and keep an eye on your elderly neighbors who live alone or do not have children living nearby.

🐻🌞 What a BEAR-y wonderful day! 🌞🐻

Today our crew enjoyed a fun-filled outing to Bear Country USA! We packed up lunch, enjoyed a picnic outdoors, and got up close to some amazing wildlife. There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of memorable moments with friends.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make today a great day. Days like these remind us how important it is to get out, explore, connect, and create memories together. ❀️

This week, we treated each of our direct care staff members to a 30-minute massage as a small token of appreciation for all they do.

Every day, they provide compassionate support to the older adults and families we serve, and we're grateful for their dedication and care. A special thank you to the Black Hills Area Community Foundation and their Nonprofit Staff Investment Grant for helping us invest in the well-being of our amazing team.

Caring for our caregivers matters, too! Our staff consistently go above and beyond in support of our families with compassion and grace- we could not be more GRATEFUL for the work they do.

Thank you to our amazing team! We appreciate you.

Wishing you continued success as you begin this new chapter of service and impact! πŸŽ‰
