IT'S FINALLY TIME TO SADDLE UP!😱🐎

Yes! You heard that right! Sessions are back on at SunCatcher!!!

We will be holding a 7-week block of sessions from September 16th-October 31st. Taylor has attempted to contact everyone who submitted an application this year but hasn't heard back from some.

If you put in an application for 2026 and haven't been scheduled for sessions, please give Taylor a call at 605-939-4907.📞

At this time, we are not able to fit any folks onto our schedule who had not already applied. However, we encourage anyone interested to submit an application to be on the list for our next sessions!

We could not have made such phenomenal progress this year without your support. You all have shown us how important this work is and how valued SunCatcher is in our community. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!🌻❤️

Howdy everybody,

We are SO excited to say that–

🎉 SunCatcher is set to resume sessions in September! 🎉

We are still finalizing session days and times, but we need YOU!🫵

Are you able to volunteer your time and heart to our organization to support our participants in their therapeutic horsemanship sessions? Equine experience is preferred but not required.

Each therapeutic session can require up to3️⃣ volunteers per participant. That’s a lot of people! We are grateful for every single individual who comes out, shows up, and helps our amazing horses help some amazing people. 🙏

We will be holding an initial volunteer training on August 29th, from 9am-2pm. This will cover the fundamentals of horse safety, disability services, and show you what these sessions may look like. No matter what prior experience you have with either horses or humans, our team will meet you where you’re at and help set you up for success! 😁

❤️ Yesterday was another awesome morning with our volunteers working on keeping our horse's skills up and preparing them to welcome back our riders. This young lady has been amazing help as she and her mama volunteer! Rowan is brave, kind, and so fun to work with.

😲 We are in the home stretch, folks! Stay tuned in the next couple weeks, as I will make an announcement as soon as we finalize some details and dates for 2026 sessions.

When she isn't here, Kat loves collecting houseplants, riding her motorcycle, and being with her own personal herd (including her mini mule!)
