Please join us in welcoming the 2nd member of our Clinical Mental Health Counseling student team, Jaden Harper! 🎉❤️

Jaden, your heart and passion for helping others are so beautiful. We couldn’t be happier to have you joining us at The Healing Collective!

A little more about Jaden:
Jaden is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at South Dakota State University, completing her practicum here at The Healing Collective. She is passionate about creating a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.

She has a particular interest in working with individuals, couples, and families, with plans to specialize in relationship counseling after graduation. Her approach is grounded in authenticity, curiosity, and respect for each client’s unique experiences, integrating evidence-based practices with a holistic perspective on mental wellness.

When she’s not studying or counseling, you’ll likely find Jaden outdoors—fly fishing, mountain biking, or exploring the Black Hills with her family. 🌲🎣

We are so excited to have Jaden learning, growing, and becoming part of our team! Welcome, Jaden! 🤍

We are so excited to officially begin our journey as an internship/practicum site this week—and even more excited to welcome some fabulous new souls into The Healing Collective family! ❤️

Join us in welcoming the first member of our phenomenal team of clinical mental health students, Chase Madison Smith! 🎉

A little about Chase:

"I believe healing begins with feeling safe, supported, and truly understood. I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationships, and life transitions. My counseling approach is grounded in person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused principles, and I hope to continue growing in trauma-informed, relational, and mind-body approaches throughout my career.”

We are so excited to have you on this journey with us, Chase! We can’t wait to learn alongside you, support your growth, and work together to serve the incredible people in our community.

Join us in our official "Facebook welcome" to this wonderful lady! Jennifer Mayforth, you bring such an authentic, warm, and caring presence to our space. We're so happy you joined The Collective family 🤍

A little from Jen about who she is and what she brings to her work ✨

"I am a licensed professional counselor and also a Christian, friend, mentor, wife, and mother of four adult children. I am warm, kind, real, and compassionate. I work to honor your courage to be authentic and vulnerable and do my best to meet you where you are at.
I believe that support, encouragement, and being seen can provide the calm, connection, and direction we all seek. I work with adult clients who want to change, grow, and thrive, especially those working through relationship struggles, life transitions, or navigating complicated life circumstances."

Excited to have been able to be a piece of supporting and educating those who support our veterans today! 🤍

Excited to have been able to be a piece of supporting and educating those who support our veterans today! 🤍

Was so honored to be asked to be the guest speaker at Volunteers of America’s staff retreat today, talking about our body’s response patterns to the things we’ve been through and how we can use body based modalities and techniques to come back from those experiences more whole, connected, and alive ❤️

Loved meeting the staff in our region—civilian and veterans/service members alike—who are supporting our veterans in the Midwest.

Such incredibly important work you all are doing!
It was a privilege to get to join your ranks today 🤍

Join us in welcoming Cindy Bechard, LMT of Treestone Therapeutic Massage to The Healing Collective!!

Cindy brings such a beautiful heart and passion for helping others as well as a range of restorative services to the space 🤍

Cindy offers:

• Primary Reflex Integration (MNRI) – This work helps the body work through some of those early movement patterns we’re born with that can sometimes stick around and make things like coordination, balance, sensory regulation, or calming the body more difficult. Cindy does a lot of this work with children, but it can be helpful across the lifespan.

• Craniosacral Therapy – A very gentle form of bodywork that focuses on helping the body release tension and settle into a more balanced, relaxed state.

• Manual Lymph Drainage – Gentle, rhythmic massage that helps encourage healthy lymph flow and can be especially helpful with swelling, congestion, and supporting the body’s natural healing process.

We’re so happy to have Cindy joining our Collective and adding another really unique piece to the work happening here!

We've been busy soaking up summery-summer things but are jumping back into gear and have lots of updates and news to share! 🙃❤️

First, our very first Integrative Healing Day Retreat was a success!! So beautiful and encouraging! 🤍

Testimonies we received afterwards:

"I feel refreshed and alive! I have since experienced mental clarity and am able to focus on tasks for long periods of time."

"I have felt such a positive shift since the retreat... I gained a deeper understanding of myself and have been reminded to honor my body and nurture myself more."

Reading responses like these reminds us why we keep dreaming, creating, and asking, "What else is possible?"

We're just so excited for everything coming to The Healing Collective!

Things like:
• New providers joining The Collective!
• New out-of-the-box services designed to meet more people and populations in different ways!
AND
• We're becoming an official internship site and are thrilled to be a piece of getting to equip the next generation of therapists in body-based, trauma-informed care ❤️❤️

We'll be introducing our new providers, interns/practicum students, and new services in the weeks to come so stay tuned!! 🤍

“I didn’t remember what it felt like to feel calm… to feel peace.”

Some of my favorite moments in therapy are first sessions—when someone shares their story, and before we end, we take a few minutes to ground.
Through simple EMDR-informed and somatic techniques, they often experience a sense of calm they haven’t felt in a long time, in just minutes.
That’s why we created The Healing Collective.

Because real healing isn’t just about talking—it’s about integrating the mind and body. Through modalities like EMDR, breathwork, and movement, we can begin to regulate, release, and truly move forward.

We’re so excited for our first Integrative Healing Retreat happening tomorrow in our space—there are still 3 spots left.

Special code for $25 off the final spots!!! 25OFFMAY

Join us this weekend for an integrative healing retreat designed to help you move through what’s been holding you back—mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Through guided breathwork, intentional movement, and EMDR-based bilateral stimulation, you’ll learn practical tools to regulate your nervous system, process stuck experiences, and reconnect with a deeper sense of calm and clarity.

These approaches aren’t just trends—they’re grounded in research showing that body-based practices can help reduce stress, increase emotional resilience, and support lasting change beyond insight alone.

We’re looking forward to slowing down, creating space, and doing meaningful work together this weekend.

Hope to see you there!!

We see wellness as a whole-body experience—mind, body, and emotions working together.
