Children's Therapy Services is located in Rapid City, SD. We currently provide outreach Speech/Language, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services. We are also now providing Special Education Services with a Special Education Instructor. We are moving in a very new and positive direction and would like to provide more outreach services related to all spectrums of Autism. We hope to be adding mor

Meet Wylee! Our Occupational Therapy Star of the Month, July edition! 💫

Wylee is 7 years old and has been coming to CTS for 1 year!

Wylee’s favorite colors are orange and teal, and his favorite food is Pizza Bagel Bites; hard to argue with that one

Wylee likes to spend his time creating his own awesome universe in his favorite game, Minecraft. When he’s not building brick by brick, I bet you can find him watching his favorite show, Young Sheldon, or reading some of his favorite passages from his favorite book, the Holy Bible; safe to say he isn’t afraid of exploring beyond a “light read”!

Wylee also loves to burn off his energy riding bikes, especially dirt bikes! Wylee is a true reptile lover through and through! His favorite place to go is the iconic Rapid City gem, Reptile Gardens, where you will definitely find him looking for some of his favorite animal friends, the bearded dragons.

Wylee’s top pick song is “Godzilla,” and his favorite sport is the good ol’ classic baseball!

Meet Payton! Our Speech Therapy Star of the Month, July edition. 💕

Payton is 10 years old and has been coming to CTS for over 2 years!

Payton’s favorite color is pink, light pink to be specific, and her favorite food is pasta.

Payton loves to spend her days being as creative as possible; you can find her playing and creating in her own Roblox world. When she needs a break from screen time, Payton loves to create all different kinds of crafts and pieces of art. She’s not afraid to get her hands dirty, especially when it is paint or glitter! When her creativity is done for the day, Payton likes to watch her favorite show, Stranger Things, and read her favorite book series, the most iconic of them all, The Baby-Sitters Club!

Payton loves basketball, especially playing with her family at her favorite place, her niece’s house, and i bet you $100.00 she will be jamming to her favorite artist, Taylor Swift, all the way there.

When it comes to animals, Payton can’t help herself around her favorite animal of all time, the tiny but mighty Chihuahua.

The Brave Minds Club Development Group!

A Fun, Skills-Based Anxiety Group for Kids Ages 6–12
Brave Minds Club is a 1-hour, occupational therapy–led group designed to help kids understand anxiety and learn tools to manage it in a fun, supportive, and age-appropriate way.

Why This Group Is Beneficial for Your Child
-Builds coping skills early
Children learn practical tools like breathing, calming movements, and positive self-talk they can use at home and school.
-Teaches kids what worry really is
We help kids understand that anxiety is a “brain alarm,” not something to be scared of, and show them how to calm their bodies when it goes off.
-Boosts confidence and independence
Instead of avoiding situations, kids learn “I can handle this.”
-Movement-based and hands-on
Perfect for active kids who learn best through play, movement, and doing, not just talking.
-Social connection
Kids see they’re not the only ones who worry, which reduces shame and builds peer confidence.
