We herd the moos today! We had a dress in black and white day to celebrate the cow! We had 3 stickers under 3 food baskets for the residents. The resident that had a sticker won a prize. We also have started inviting our staff to come in and have treats and conversations with the residents. The residents are over the moon with all the extra attention from the staff. We served purple cows (ice cream with grape soda) cow tails and trailmix and a chocolate chocolate chip cookie ( cow pie). It was a moovelous event. Thank you to the staff.

At Edgewood Sioux Falls, one art project became a first-place winner at the South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations Art Contest. Activities are never just something to fill the calendar. Around one table, with ink pads, laughter between neighbors, and caregivers joining in, an afternoon of art became a lasting reminder of connection!
