Let's talk income transparency again, but this time we're talking yoga.
I've shared what income looks like within my private practice, but therapy isn't the only work I do.
I've been teaching yoga for 10 years, and it's remained an important part of my life and career even as my private practice has grown.
So, in the spirit of continuing to have transparent conversations about money, I'm sharing exactly what I earned teaching yoga during the month of July.
Fitness and wellness spaces can sometimes carry the same message as helping professions: You should do this because you love it.
And I DO love it.
But loving the work doesn't mean we can't also talk honestly about compensation, time, and what makes this work sustainable.
If you're curious about teaching yoga, working as a fitness instructor, or how I balance this alongside private practice, leave me your questions below. I'd love to keep pulling back the curtain.
This is simply my personal experience. Pay varies significantly depending on location, studio, experience, class type, and other factors.
