Aerial yoga humbled me in the best way! 😂💜 After years of practicing yoga, I stepped outside my comfort zone and discovered a whole new level of strength, trust, and letting go of control. Sometimes growth means being a beginner all over again. 🌿✨

Wrapped in heritage, honoring my crown. 🤎✨

Headwrapping has deep roots in African cultures and African American life, carrying stories of beauty, identity, resilience, and pride. Its meanings vary, but for me, covering my crown is an act of care and intention—a connection to those who came before me.

As Hoodoo Heritage Month comes to a close, I’m honoring the Black American spiritual traditions, ancestral wisdom, and everyday practices that continue to shape my journey.

The month ends. Honoring my roots continues. 🐚

Today I’m 38, and I’m grateful to God for the gift of still becoming. 💜

I’ve had to release people, habits, and versions of myself that I once thought I couldn’t live without. Some lessons hurt, but they taught me that I can love others without abandoning myself—and that I don’t have to shrink to be worthy of love.

This year, I’m celebrating the woman who kept going, kept her heart soft, and is finally giving herself the love she so freely gives everyone else. More peace. More boundaries. More me. 🥂✨
