💙 Happy Community Health Worker Day! 💙

Today, we proudly celebrate our Patient Resource Coordinators, whose dedication and compassion play a vital role in supporting our patients and communities. You go above and beyond to connect individuals and families with the resources, education, and support they need to overcome barriers and thrive.

Your work is rooted in trust, advocacy, and genuine care. By meeting patients where they are and helping navigate complex systems, you make healthcare more accessible, equitable, and human. The impact you make every day extends far beyond the clinic walls.

Thank you for your commitment, your empathy, and the meaningful relationships you build with our patients. We are deeply grateful for all that you do—today and always! 💙

🌞 Why sunscreen matters:
Regular use of sunscreen helps reduce your risk of skin cancer, including melanoma, the most serious type of skin cancer. UV rays can damage your skin even on cloudy days and during everyday activities like driving or walking outside.

🧴 How to protect your skin:

Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (protects against UVA & UVB)

Choose SPF 30 or higher

Apply 15 minutes before going outside

Reapply every 2 hours — and after swimming or sweating

Don’t forget ears, lips, neck, and hands

👒 Extra protection tips:

Wear a wide-brimmed hat and UV-blocking sunglasses

Seek shade between 10 AM – 4 PM

Wear protective clothing when possible

Your skin is your body’s largest organ — protect it for life. Daily sunscreen use is one of the simplest ways to lower your risk of skin cancer.
