What time you should arrive at a funeral depends on whether you are a guest, close to the family, or if you are helping with the setup. It is recommended to always arrive at a funeral service at least 30 minutes in advance, as, this will give you time to greet and pay respect to the family, and most importantly ensure that everything runs smoothly.

When you think of caskets, the half-couch model is probably the first to come to mind. The lid of the half-couch casket includes two different pieces that are hinged together. While less common, with full-couch caskets the lid is just one piece and, when opened, it’s possible to see the entire body of the deceased.
