What a memorable and joy-filled day at Complete Care at Berkshire !

When the activity calendar announced a kangaroo visit, many residents thought it had to be a fun prank—but the surprise was absolutely real. Thanks to the generosity of our friends from Serenity Hospice PA and Aldinger Farms , everyone at our center can now say they've met a kangaroo!

Residents and staff spent the afternoon petting, cuddling, and learning fascinating facts about these adorable animals. The experience brought smiles, laughter, and plenty of excitement throughout the building, creating special memories that everyone will be talking about for a long time.

Meet Zanaiya Jackson! She is one of our dedicated CNAs here at Complete Care at Berkshire who shows up every day ready to care for our residents with heart. Recently, Zanaiya has taken on the role of mentoring some of our new staff members, helping pave the way for committed team members just like herself. Caught ya, Lekeya! 📸

Today, we are proud to recognize one of our incredible team members for her compassion and the comfort she brings—not only to our residents, but to their family members as well. Healthcare journeys can be complex, and entering a new environment can often feel overwhelming, just as it did for one family member recently. However, her interactions with Lekeya helped calm those anxieties and provided reassurance that everything would be okay, leading her to submit this nomination.

Her caring nature, kind reassurance, and genuine passion for helping others shine through in everything she does. She consistently brings comfort, confidence, and peace of mind to those around her, making a lasting impact on the lives of our residents and their loved ones alike.

Happy National Skilled Nursing Care Week !🍦

We are so excited to celebrate the people, moments, and stories that make Complete Care at Berkshire a warm, welcoming home. Our friends from Serenity Hospice PA treated our team to some well-deserved ice cream treats and we handed out some super cool Complete Care swag. We are so grateful for people who put their hearts into care and the community partners who value the commitment of our team, just as much as we do!
