✨ “When you change the beginning, you change the end.” ✨

To you, this may look like a **huge mess**… 🍓🥣🍌

But to us, this is a **huge success**. 🙌

When it comes to feeding, messy hands, smeared yogurt, dropped food, and hesitant touches can be BIG wins. Trying new textures, exploring foods, tolerating messy play, and building confidence around eating are all important steps in a child’s feeding journey.

Sometimes feeding challenges are connected to a medical condition or developmental delay — and that’s okay. At WeeTalk, we provide support that meets your child and family where they are, helping little ones build the skills they need one bite, touch, and tiny victory at a time.

Because when you change the beginning, you can change the ending. 💫

On my way to tell them how I really feel about…
hearing “they’ll grow out of it” when a family has real concerns. 🚗💨

Spoiler alert: Early intervention isn’t about waiting and hoping. It’s about noticing, supporting, and helping little ones build skills during the years it matters most.

Trust the gut feeling. Ask the questions. Get the support.
(And yes… we will happily climb on our soapbox about it 😅)

Today, we remember. ❤️

This Memorial Day, WeeTalk honors the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and the families who carry their memory every day.

As we spend time with loved ones, enjoy backyard barbecues, and soak up the sunshine, may we also pause to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and freedom that make these moments possible.

From all of us at WeeTalk, we wish you a safe, meaningful, and memory-filled Memorial Day. ❤️🤍💙

It takes an hour to put on shoes and get out the door…

…but in under 3 minutes they can:
📱 delete every photo on your phone
📱 open 47 apps
📱 somehow attempt to call 911
📱 and take 165 blurry, up-the-nose selfies

The speed. The skill. The chaos.
Where is that energy when it’s time to leave?! 😅

POV: Pre-COVID SLP rolling into early intervention with enough toys and paperwork to fill the entire trunk 🚗📚🧸

Current SLP:
iPad in hand
“...that’s all.”

Turns out, all you really need is connection, creativity, clinical expertise… and maybe decent WiFi 😉

Early intervention looks a little different these days — less hauling ALL the things, more flexibility, more efficiency, and more time focused on what matters most: supporting families and helping little ones grow.

And if that sounds like your kind of vibe… 👀
We’re hiring SLPs, OTs, and PTs to join our early intervention team!

✨ Flexible scheduling
✨ Meaningful work
✨ Less stuff to lug around
✨ More impact where it counts

🎶 “The answer is… probably never. Can you stop asking me that question all together?” 🎶

“Won’t they just grow out of it?”

…probably never. And can we stop asking that altogether? 🙃

Early Intervention isn’t about “waiting and seeing.” It’s about not missing the moment. Those early years are when brains are growing the fastest, and a little support now can make a BIG difference later.

If something feels off, trust your gut. Asking questions, getting support, and starting early isn’t overreacting—it’s advocating. 💜

“No thinking on Fridays!! 🤪✋
Especially not on a holiday weekend 😎☀️

Our brains are officially in snack mode, sunshine mode, and ‘what time is the cookout?’ mode 🌭😂

Wishing all our WeeTalk families, therapists, and little ones a fun, relaxing, memory-making weekend 💚

Happy Friday!! 🎉

Transitions Without Tears (Well… Fewer 😅)

Struggling with meltdowns when it’s time to switch activities? Transitions are hard for little ones — but a few simple strategies can make a BIG difference 👇

⏳ Make it clear how much longer
Give a heads up! “2 more minutes” or “one more turn” helps kids prepare for what’s next.

🧸 Use a transition toy or favorite object
Let them carry something familiar from one activity to the next — it can ease the shift and provide comfort.

🚦 Give clear signals it’s over
Be consistent! Use the same phrase, song, or cue each time so they know what to expect.

👜 Be ready & prepared
Have the next activity set up and ready to go — waiting = frustration.

Transitions don’t have to be a battle. With a little planning and consistency, they can become smoother (for everyone 😉).
