Making time for self care can be very challenging between work, kids, appointments and other responsibilities, but it's important to schedule time to refill your cup. What are the tasks we can put off til tomorrow? Who can you delegate to dos to? How can you hold boundaries with others to avoid taking on too much and burning out? If you're having a hard time answering these questions and want to make more time for yourself but don't know how, consider starting therapy! The holidays can be a difficult time for all of us, and there can be many issues that can be difficult to deal with. If you or a loved one struggles with self advocacy, communication skills, or self-regulation in these settings therapy could be beneficial to you. There can be many factors that impact our mental health. I know for me that a rainy day can throw off my morning in a snap. Its important for us to recognize these shifts so we can better understand ourselves and our needs. For me a healthy breakfast and intentional movement help me to get out of that rut.
