Michelle Rigling, PhD ~ Counseling, Retreats, Herbal Conferences The Cavewoman Way is the private practice of Michelle Rigling, PhD, M.Sc., MBA.

Michelle has a professional background in social work and trauma-informed therapeutic care as well as wellness event planning. Michelle specializes in Trauma-Informed Transpersonal Counseling, a blend of depth psychology, traditional counseling, and spiritual practices that empower and bring balance to the whole self while honoring our life experiences teachers and healers themselves. As a Transpersonal Practitioner, Michelle holds space for hard questions and deep introspection, recovery and renewal, spiritual questing, and whole-self healing - tending to our emotional, social, and physical selves as well as our spiritual, intuitive, and creative selves. The Cave is a place for wisdom seekers, wild hearts, wanderers, modern mystics, and anyone who desires a deeper, more meaningful life. Throughout time, people have gathered in caves for healing, visioning, ceremony, and dreaming. Caves are places of mystery, deep reflection, remembering, and reconnecting to the soul. Not only does Michelle work with the cave as a metaphor in healing and intuitive work, she also leads retreats and quests in wild caves in the Southeastern USA. I am so very excited about this year's women's herbal conference... we just announced this:

AN EVENING OF HERBAL DREAMING

We wanted this to be a surprise, but we just can't stand keeping it a secret any longer! Our special Saturday night offering at this year's herbal conference will be an Herbal Dreaming Pajama Party with Joanna Mann! After dinner, we'll change into our PJs, get cozy around the grand fireplace, and learn about dream incubation, dream herbs, and the magic of dreaming as a community. We'll sip a special dream tea together, enjoy some drumming, and say goodnight by candlelight. The following morning we'll share dreams and insights over breakfast. We can't wait!

Every once in a while, an article or podcast comes along that I want to share far and wide. The recent blog post and podcast from my dear friend Brian Pearson of The Mystic Cave is one of those. I featured links to these in my e-newsletter today but I also want to share it here. There are many ways to walk a soulful path. There are many ways to journey with nature. There are many ways in which immersing ourselves in the wild can lead us back home to the wild within ourselves.
