Monmouth Plastic Surgery - Dr. Gregory A. Greco

Monmouth Plastic Surgery - Dr. Gregory A. Greco Dr. Gregory Greco is American Board of Plastic Surgery certified. Becoming a plastic surgeon was a life goal I set out to achieve many years ago.

It represents a unique medical specialty that combines the science of medicine, creativity and compassion. I am committed to providing outstanding, current and safe medical care to my patients. You will never be rushed through an appointment, nor will you ever be required to wait an unreasonable amount of time to be seen. I am appreciative of all my patients and respect that your time is valued. I

realize that plastic surgery is a very personal decision and will strive to make your experience everything you think it should be. Together we will proceed through your first consultation realizing your concerns and expectations and develop the best solution. Your consultation will also be an educational experience. I feel that education is essential to achieve your best result. I always encourage my patients to write down their questions and concerns prior to their consultation. As a plastic surgeon I am always being asked about the latest advances in the specialty. It is sometimes difficult to sort through the latest procedural advances and their efficacy. "Cutting Edge" procedures can often be misleading to the public. I will only offer my patients safe and effective therapy. I highly regard the satisfaction of my patients and will only offer them safe PROVEN technology.

Surg-Hac of the Day! From Dr. Gregory Greco at Monmouth Plastic Surgery. ⚡During a standard tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) with a typical re**us diastasis repair, keeping patients comfortable and opioid-free comes down to timing. I mix liposomal Marcaine with 0.25% plain Marcaine and inject it precisely into the tissue long before placing a single suture into the muscle fascia. If you wait until after plication, the drug cannot properly infiltrate the tight fascia around the knots, leaving patients with moderate postoperative pain. When a patient hurts, it is not the Marcaine failing—it is the injection technique! Inject early, master the technique, and your patients will thank you. Surgeon hack alert! 💡 Plastic surgery is all about precision, but who says we can’t have a little fun making life easier in the OR? Anyone else find that slicing a perfect wedge out of a torn earlobe with an 11 blade can be a total pain? Years ago at a medical meeting, I saw a chalazion clamp and had a total “aha!” moment. It turns out, this little tool is an absolute game-changer for earlobes! Once the patient is nice and numb, you just clamp it down for a completely bloodless, steady view, wedge the tissue out, and you’re good to go. It is honestly that simple! I’ve been using this trick for years at Monmouth Plastic Surgery and just had to share the joy. What is your favorite secret weapon tool in the office? Let me know below! 👇 MedEd SurgicalTips

At Monmouth Plastic Surgery, my priority is always the human connection. While I appreciate how modern technology improves patient outcomes, the overwhelming burden of administrative tasks and endless screen time can sometimes feel like a barrier. I refuse to let bureaucracy get in the way of what truly matters. As a dual board-certified plastic surgeon, I believe excellent medicine requires looking past the computer to focus entirely on you. My team and I are dedicated to preserving face-to-face attention, truly listening to your goals, and keeping compassion at the heart of your care.
