Surgeon hack alert! 💡 Plastic surgery is all about precision, but who says we can’t have a little fun making life easier in the OR? Anyone else find that slicing a perfect wedge out of a torn earlobe with an 11 blade can be a total pain? Years ago at a medical meeting, I saw a chalazion clamp and had a total “aha!” moment. It turns out, this little tool is an absolute game-changer for earlobes! Once the patient is nice and numb, you just clamp it down for a completely bloodless, steady view, wedge the tissue out, and you’re good to go. It is honestly that simple! I am truly honored to be heading to Buenos Aires, Argentina, as the Scientific Co-Chair of the Global Plastic Surgery Conference 2026. This extraordinary meeting — already completely sold out — will bring together representatives from more than 25 countries and many of the world’s leading plastic surgeons to discuss the latest and most innovative advances in aesthetic and reconstructive surgery.
It has been a privilege to help organize this incredible scientific program alongside my co-chair and dear colleague, Dr. Javier Vera Cucciero of Argentina.
