Last Saturday, I volunteered at the Tehama County Library's Backpack Event at the Red Bluff Library. We helped give out school supplies to over 400 kids! There were also resource organizations with lots of fun activities, crafts, and free lunch for the kids under 18. It was well organized and everyone was so grateful.

Last week I helped out at Kiwanis Camp up at Camp Tehama. As a Kiwanian, we raise funds all year to provide a weeklong camp experience for middle school kids for no cost to them. They have different activities (fishing, archery, tubing, leathercraft, woodworking, tye-dying a shirt), a hike, and a dance, plus campfire songs and skits.
My activity was leathercraft (making a belt) and giant bubbles. The kids and we Kiwanians always have a good time!
