Don't let a last-minute sports physical keep your athlete off the field!

School is starting soon and every student athlete requires a yearly sports physical before participating in school sports. If you still need a sports physical, we've got you covered with walk-in options —no appointment needed.

Sports Physical Walk-In Clinic Hours:
📅 Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
📅 Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

What to Bring:
✅ Complete the school sports physical form in advance.
✅ Bring the form, your insurance card and photo ID.
✅ Plan for the parent to stay for the entire exam.
*Most insurances only cover one sports physical in a 12 month period.

This “hot topic” drew a crowd!

Over 40 local seniors joined Dr. Julie Kelley, ER Physician, to learn about heat-related illnesses, warning signs, and ways to stay safe this summer.

The main three takeaways include:

💧 Hydrate: Drink plenty of water.

🌳 Stay cool: Seek shade or air conditioning and wear lightweight clothing.

⚠️ Know the signs: Watch for dizziness, headache, nausea, weakness, or confusion—and seek help if symptoms worsen.
