🎃👻 EXCITING THINGS ARE HAPPENING THIS OCTOBER! 👻🎃

October is shaping up to be a busy month here at Heritage of Webster County — but busy in the BEST ways! ❤️ We absolutely love this time of year, especially when it gives us even more opportunities to bring our residents and our community together! 🧡

As Halloween gets closer, there are SO many fun things happening around our community! 👇

🎃 OCTOBER 24TH — MAUDLIN MOTOR COMPANY COSTUME WALK
Get those costumes ready! 🧙‍♀️👻 The annual Maudlin Motor Company Costume Walk will be making its way to Heritage of Webster County for some trick-or-treating with our residents! 🍬 After visiting the nursing home, everyone will head over to the Community Center for even more Halloween fun and activities!

🚚🎃 OCTOBER 25TH — TRUCK-OR-TREAT IN BLUE HILL
Head over to Blue Hill and join in on the fun at the Blue Hill Clinic from 4:00–6:00 PM! 🚒🍭

Come check out all the fun trunks, grab some treats, and enjoy a great evening with the community! Hot dogs and drinks will also be available, so you can grab some supper while you're there! 🌭🥤🎃

👻🕸️ OCTOBER 30TH — HERITAGE HALLOWEEN PARADE
Come back and see us at Heritage of Webster County for our Halloween Parade at 4:00 PM! 🎃

Local Red Cloud businesses will be set up to pass out candy, and our residents will be joining in on the fun too! Our residents LOVE seeing all the little trick-or-treaters dressed up, so bring those costumes and your biggest smiles! 🥰🍬

🍭🎃 OCTOBER 31ST — HALLOWEEN NIGHT AT HERITAGE
And we aren't done yet! 👻 Stop by Heritage on Halloween night and let our residents help you fill those candy bags just a little bit more! 🍫🍬 Our residents will be up and ready to hand out candy and enjoy seeing all of our little ghosts, goblins, princesses, superheroes and more!

👻🏥 OCTOBER 31ST — HAUNTED CLINIC AT THE RED CLOUD CLINIC
Looking for even MORE Halloween fun?! 👀🎃

Dr. Durr is putting on a Haunted Clinic right here in Red Cloud! 🕷️👻 Come brave the spooky clinic from 6:00–9:00 PM if you dare! 😱🕸️

🍬👹 HELP US FEED THE CANDY MONSTER! 👹🍬

With so much Halloween fun happening, we have decided to put our very own "Candy Monster" in the nursing home! 👹🍭

The Candy Monster will be accepting donations of individually wrapped, fun-sized candy to help our residents make Halloween extra sweet for all of our little trick-or-treaters! ❤️

But candy isn't the only thing we're looking for! 👀🎃

🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ WE NEED HALLOWEEN VOLUNTEERS! 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️

We are also looking for volunteers who would be willing to come in on Halloween night to help our residents pass out candy! You can spend the evening helping residents hand out treats, help get them set up with candy, or simply lend an extra hand — we would LOVE to have you! 🥰

It's a simple way to spend part of your Halloween evening and help our residents be a part of all the fun! 🎃❤️

🎉 Congratulations to our Heritage of Webster County October Employee of the Month, Kathy Hersh! 🎉

Kathy has been part of the Heritage family for 8 years, and she truly plays so many important roles in the lives of our residents. She works as a Dietary Aide and Activities Assistant, bringing her talents and caring personality to everything she does.

From serving up the best meals 🍽️ to creating the coolest crafts 🎨, Kathy always finds a way to make our residents smile. They love spending time with her and showed just how much they appreciate her by voting her our October Employee of the Month! ❤️

When Kathy isn’t at Heritage, she enjoys spending time in her garden, tending to her plants, and cooking for her large family. 🌱🥘❤️

Kathy, we are so thankful for you and everything you do for our residents, families, and Heritage family! Congratulations—you are so deserving! 👏🎉

Our postcard wall at Heritage of Webster County is growing, and we are SO excited to announce that we have officially received postcards from 25 different states! 🎉

That means we are HALFWAY to reaching our goal of collecting a postcard from ALL 50 STATES! 🗺️❤️

We absolutely LOVE receiving postcards in the mail. Our residents enjoy looking at each postcard, seeing where it came from, and talking about the different places represented on our wall. Every postcard adds another little piece of the country to Heritage! 🥰📮

🎉 Heritage of Webster County’s September Employee of the Month is Bobbi Jo Adams! 🎉

Bobbi Jo has been part of the Heritage family for about a year and a half and does an amazing job helping keep our building sparkling clean! ✨

Our residents truly enjoy visiting and chatting with Bobbi Jo while she works, and they showed their appreciation by voting her as our Employee of the Month! 💙

Bobbi Jo always has a smile on her face and a willing attitude to jump in and help wherever she is needed. Her positivity and dedication are appreciated by both our residents and staff!

When she isn’t at Heritage, Bobbi Jo loves spending time with her family and friends. ❤️
