Paul Dumler, age 70, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away, Sunday, June 7, 2026, at the Accura Healthcare of Shenandoah, Iowa. Paul was born October 3, 1955, in Iowa City, Iowa, the son of William “Bill” and Dorothy (King) Dumler. He graduated from Villisca High School in 1974. Paul was united in marriage to Darla White on August 13, 1990, in Reno Nevada. Over the years, Paul drove a truck, worked at Thos. D. Murphy Co. until it closed, ROMECH, and the Red Oak Express as a production supervisor. He was a member of the 15–20-year club at the Murphy Co. His hobbies included fishing, camping, bowling, family get togethers, especially cookouts, and he was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Preceding him in death were his father: Bill Dumler; and nephews: BJ Dumler and Bradley Dumler. Survivors include his mother: Dorothy Dumler of Stanton, IA; wife: Darla Dumler of Red Oak, IA; children: Jason Dumler and wife Sandy of Nodaway, IA; Chrissy Solgat and husband Chris of Red Oak, IA; Shannon Starnes and husband Blake of Malvern, IA; and Katie Hyde and husband Luke of Glenwood, IA; 11 grandchildren: siblings: Diane Helvie and husband Ron of Corning, IA; Bobby Dumler of Emerson, IA; Debbie Bozwell and husband Raymond of Red Oak, IA; and Penny Strong and husband Kerry of Villisca, IA; and many other relatives and friends.

A graveside funeral will be held at 10 AM Friday, June 12, 2026, at the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-7 PM Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the LeRette Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.

Gwen Ann Hossle, age 89, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away, Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Arlington Place. Gwen was born March 14, 1937, in Montgomery County, Iowa, the daughter of John and Evelyn (Gibson) Ross. She was raised on the family farm south of Red Oak. Gwen attended Coburg School and graduated with the class of 1954. She was united in marriage to Max Hossle on December 9, 1956, in Emerson, Iowa. They farmed with Max’s dad for many years until they bought the farm where Gwen was raised in 1965. Gwen was a longtime member of the Red Oak Presbyterian Church where she taught Sunday school. She was a homemaker, raising her family, and working right along side of Max on the family farm. She had her own truck to haul grain for many years and a tractor with her name on it. Gwen always raised a big garden, did lots of canning, raised chickens, and the whole family had an annual sweet corn freezing event. She was involved in 4-H and enjoyed helping her grandchildren with many projects. Gwen served on the Montgomery County Soil Conservation Board for several years.

Preceding her in death were her parents; son: Fred Hossle; brother: Dick Ross and wife Mary; sisters: Marcia Helm and husband LeRoy and Mary Askey and husband Tom; sister-in-law: Dorothy Porter and husband Duane; brother-in-law: Robert Hossle and wife Lois; nephews: Rick Askey, Tim Helm, and Dennis Ross; and niece: Judy (Hossle) Kruger. Survivors include her husband of 69 years: Max Hossle of Red Oak, IA; daughters: Julie Van Houten (Gib Hall) of Emerson, IA and Donise Seneker of Jefferson City, MO; daughter-in-law: Teresa Hossle of Red Oak, IA; grandchildren: Tonya Yale (Shawn) of Omaha, NE; Tammy Martin (Jason) of Papillion, NE; Heather Laire (Corey) of Red Oak, IA; Heidi Hossle (Rob Ervin) of Essex, IA; Becca Ridnour (Harry) of Clarinda, IA; and Anthony Seneker of Jefferson City, MO; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the LeRette Funeral Chapel in Red Oak. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held from 5-7 PM Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at the LeRette Funeral Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Montgomery County Ag Society.

James “Jim” Charles Thuman passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Thomas Rest Haven in C**n Rapids, Iowa. Jim was born on May 8, 1944, in Villisca, Iowa, the son of Leo and Doris (Goodwin) Thuman. Jim grew up in the Villisca area where he went to school and helped his parents on their farm. He moved to Kansas City where he graduated from college and then settled in Clarinda, Iowa, where he raised his two daughters, Angela and Ashley. Jim was a pressman, working for the local newspaper and later Clarinda Printing and Graphics. He belonged to the Catholic Church and was a longtime member of the Clarinda A’s board. He later met Kathleen Headlee and the two had been married for nearly 15 years. Jim was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals play baseball. He spent many winters in Arizona and made many friends over the years. His favorite thing was spending time with his five grandchildren. He will be missed by all that knew him.

Preceding him in death were his parents and brother: Carroll Thuman.

Jim is survived by his daughters: Angela Thuman of Clarinda and Ashley Mikkelsen of Maryville, Missouri; grandchildren: Ariel Peterson, Olivia Mikkelsen, Genevieve, Carter Mikkelsen and Cameron Mikkelsen; his wife: Kathleen Headlee of C**n Rapids, Iowa; sister: Mary Jones of Red Oak, Iowa; nieces: Tammy (Scott) Jones and Sandy Vrbsky; cousins: Karen Mandina; Janet “Sue” Courtier and Laura Strehle; Kathleen’s children: Brian (Mary) Headlee and Annette Dingman; and many other family members and friends.

A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at the First United Methodist Church in C**n Rapids, Iowa. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the First United Methodist Church in C**n Rapids. A celebration of life visitation in Red Oak, Iowa will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at the LeRette Funeral Chapel from 4-6 PM.

Gladys C. Dedrickson, age 103, of Stanton, Iowa, formerly of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital in Red Oak. Gladys was born May 10, 1923, in Red Oak, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Delia (Hart) Abraham. She graduated from Red Oak High School in 1941. On October 17, 1943, Gladys was united in marriage to Warren “Pat” Dedrickson in Red Oak, Iowa. In her younger years, she worked at Kolterman’s Five and Dime and later Thos. D. Murphy Co. and Union Carbide. She enjoyed playing cards, raising her family, and spending time with family and friends. She was a longtime member of the First Covenant Church where she served in many capacities.

Preceding her in death were her husband: Pat Dedrickson; brother: Clifford Abraham; and sister: Van Gerlach. Survivors include her children: Ardie Dedrickson of Omaha, NE; Randy Dedrickson and wife Joy of St. Joseph, MO; Roger Dedrickson and wife Thelma of Omaha, NE; and Rick Dedrickson of Red Oak, IA; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

Benjamin Lee “Ben” Neligh, age 48, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Good Samaritan Society. Ben was born August 10, 1977, in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Harry “Butch” and Marilyn (Munro) Neligh. He was raised most of his life in Red Oak but graduated from Griswold High School in 1996. Over the years, he worked for ROMECH, a food processing plant in Kansas, and Nishna Productions in Red Oak. Benny, as he was known by many, was a very imaginative, curious, independent and adventuresome guy. He enjoyed playing video games, watching wrestling and football, and was an avid Iowa State Fan. He also loved the outdoors, bicycling, going to the creek, and making memories and lasting friendships with the neighbors. Benny was most proud of his participation in the Special Olympics, receiving many medals.

Preceding him in death were two of his good friends: Danny McClish and Kenny Frame. Survivors include his children: Brooklyn Strough and husband David of Shenandoah, IA and Cailey Neligh, Brynn Neligh, and Kaigen Neligh of Kansas; grandson: Zachary Strough of Shenandoah, IA; parents: Harry “Butch” and Marilyn Neligh of Red Oak, IA; sisters: Mary Johnson and husband Ben of Urbandale, IA and Holly Nadolsky and husband Brian of Norwalk, IA; aunt and uncle: Shirley and Larry Teneyk of Kansas; best friend: Joey Gibson of Auburn, NE; and many other relatives and friends.

Kim E. Roudabush, age 69, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital. Kim was born February 10, 1957, in Red Oak, Iowa, the daughter of Stanton and Judy (LeRette) Reddick. She was raised in Millard Nebraska where she graduated from Millard South High School in 1975. Kim attended a community college where she learned the art of photography. Kim had a long career in photography living in several different places throughout her career and traveled to many different places when she worked for Jones Presnell. She also worked for Olan Mills and owned her own studio, Kim’s Studio, for many years. Kim was united in marriage to Brad Roudabush on November 8, 1997, in Omaha, Nebraska, where they made their home. Photography was her passion, but she also enjoyed fishing, tending to her flowers, and being with family.

Preceding her in death was her father, Stan Reddick. Survivors include her husband: Brad Roudabush of Omaha; mother: Judy Boeger and husband Ed of Atlantic, IA; sisters: Lynn Nice and husband Ray of Millard, NE and Lori Cooper and husband Mike of Omaha; brother: Jeff Reddick of Atlantic, IA; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Jim and Linda Roudabush of Harvard, IL; brothers-in-law: Michael Roudabush of Jacksonville, FL and Jamison Roudabush and wife Lisa of Arlington Heights, IL; sister-in-law: Kristine Ward of Dyer, IN; and many other relatives and friends.

Gerald G. Sederburg, age 90, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Montgomery County Memorial Hospital. Gerald was born May 10, 1935, in Shenandoah, Iowa, the son of Warner and Mary (Hayzlett) Sederburg. He was raised in Red Oak and graduated from Red Oak High School in the class of 1954. He was an Eagle Scout and later attended accounting school in Omaha, Nebraska. Gerald worked with his father doing corn shelling and general trucking. They shelled, ground, and delivered corn. Gerald also started a long career with Iowa Department of Transportation from which he retired. Gerald was united in marriage to Mary Flotho McMullen on April 4, 1975, in Sidney, Iowa. They made their home in Red Oak. During retirement, Gerald enjoyed working for Powell Trucking and Olson Farming. He also enjoyed traveling to Texas and Arizona for many winters and served as camp host at Viking Lake Park for many years. Gerald especially loved camping with friends of the Audubon County Travelers Camping Club. He took great pleasure in volunteering and being a member of the Montgomery County Ag Society for many years. He loved watching his grandchildren show livestock and contributed to many tasks to keep the fair running smoothly. This included running the food booth, running Bingo, cleaning barns, trash pickup, and especially mowing the grounds. Gerald was especially proud of achieving the goal of 51 years of sobriety.
Gerald was blessed to have Carla, Bailey, Elizabeth, Mike, and Ronnie as his dedicated caregivers over the years.
Preceding him in death were his parents and his wife: Mary on July 23, 2019. Survivors include his sister: Sharon Berggren and husband Fred of Nodaway, IA; children: Alisa Andrew and husband Warren of Clarinda, IA; Troy Sederburg and wife Deb of Elliott, IA; D’Ann Poston and husband Rusty of Bedford, IA; and Jana Coughlin and husband Chuck of Elliott, IA; Bryan McMullen and wife Margene of Savannah, MO; Ronnie McMullen and wife Teresa of Littleton, CO; and Carla (McMullen) Foote and husband Mike of Stanton, IA; and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, June 6, 2026, at the Gold Fair Building at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Burial of the cremated remains will be in the Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service at the Gold Fair Building.

Ardith Ann “Ardi” Winnett, age 98, of Emerson, Iowa, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at her home. Ardi was born November 14, 1927, in Henderson, Iowa, the daughter of Howard and Ferne (Pollitt) Allensworth. She graduated from Henderson High School. Ardi lived in Florida for a short period of time and had lived most of her life in southwest Iowa. Over the years, she was a bartender, cashier, worked at Union Carbide and Eveready, No Frills, and CDS. Her hobbies included gardening, NASCAR, fishing, quilting, and going to the casino, which she was able to do the week before she passed.

Preceding her in death were her parents; son: James Skdimore; and brothers: Richard and Robert Allensworth. Survivors include her children: Janice McGinn and Ron Skidmore of Emerson, Iowa; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and extended family members and many who were fortunate enough to know her.
Per Ardi’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no service.
