The idea you've been rejected by someone hurts.
Yet it's not only because someone didn't choose you, agree with you, validate you, or meet your needs.
It hurts more deeply because the break often activates an old wound that was already inside of you.
A wound of feeling not enough, not loveable, or valuable. Or it activates a deep unconscious belief around the safety of being vulnerable, connected, in relationship, or trusting of others.
Whether you're dating, married, talking to a friend, or having a difficult conversation with a coworker, it's possible to feel rejected when someone doesn't respond the way you hoped.
And another person's behavior is not a measure of your worth.
It may be information about compatibility, capacity, timing, values, communication, or simply where they are in their own journey.
The deeper question is:
What story did their behavior awaken inside of you?
Because healing begins when you stop asking, "Why did they reject me?" and start asking, "What part of me feels rejected?"
That's where your freedom lives.
And if you want to find that freedom at a deep level, DM me.
Because the emotions are real, yet the story doesn't get to destroy your sovereignty, value and your ability to feel loved in this world.
