Getting personal here tonight…

*6 days of miserable discomfort
*5 days of cancelled clients (nightmare 😩)
*4 PEMF therapy sessions
*3 Softwave laser treatments
*2 major emotional blow ups
*1 special night with friends cancelled

Major back issues + travel + a long weekend in the camper = disc problems that I’ve never experienced before.

I am not kidding even a little bit when I say, I’d rather have another C-section than go through this level of discomfort again.

I am forever thankful for Lindsey Dietrich and her amazing team at Essential Chiropractic. They took the best care of me, hugged me when I cried and reminded me that I can do this. Tonight I know I’m on the upswing. I’m sitting (upright), legs crossed, zero pain. 💖

Sometimes life doesn’t just hit you, it screams at you in the face. But how incredibly LUCKY am I?! I have a loving family to help me, the BEST friends in the world, and FULL books waiting for me when I feel ready to work again. 🥰

I may work in aesthetics now… but I never stopped being a nurse.

I still notice when someone’s nervous before they say it.

I still check in on comfort constantly.
I still care about cleanliness, safety, education, and making people feel at ease.

That part of me never shut off.

And...I’m grateful it didn’t.

Not thinking about them anymore!

May is humbling me 😅

Between end-of-school chaos, field trips, concerts, sports schedules, running a business, forgotten forms, and trying to remember what day it even is…

Some days feel like pure survival mode.

There was a time I thought I had to:
• stay on top of everything
• look put together all the time
• never drop the ball

But now?

Some days dinner is random.
Some days the laundry wins.
Some days I’m answering emails in the pickup line

And somehow… life is still beautiful.

Because I’m learning that being a good mom, business owner, woman, friend—whatever role you’re in—doesn’t require perfection.

Sometimes “doing enough” is more than enough.

Brows. Every morning.
