Pediatric Dentists are the Pediatricians of Dentistry. They graduate from dental school, like family dentists, then they attend an additional 2-3 years of specialty training. Once their formal education is completed, their focus is completely on kids. Their comfort is our top priority, always. Our office is designed around this simple idea: A child should feel safe, calm, and protected. With a 12

table open bay clinic, families of all sizes can be seen together. It allows children to mirror the behaviors of others as they calmly sit through their dental appointments. Soft Seating and Wi-fi for Parents:
We want parents to be involved as much or as little as they desire. During exams, X-rays, cleanings or fillings there is seating just for the parent. Some parents like to pull up a chair and hold their child's hand. Others would rather read from a magazine or check Facebook using the in office wi-fi. Private treatment rooms
Some children need a more private setting during their visit. We offer two rooms specifically for these kids. Parents join us as we complete exams, cleanings, or treatment. Private Consult Room :
From time to time children and parents have specific needs they might require a less public area for discussion. For this reason we offer two private consultations rooms where we can discuss treatment, medical conditions, or even finances.

She's been coming to see us since she was 1½ years old. Her favorite hygienist is Brenna. Her favorite Sanrio character is Cinnamoroll. And yes, she wore the Hello Kitty shirt and the Hello Kitty shoes to her appointment.

Most parents have at least one of these thoughts before their kid's X-rays. Totally understandable. Here's what's actually true. 👇
Myth 1: "We can probably just skip X-rays this visit."
The spaces between baby teeth are too tight to see or probe. Decay forms there first — and by the time it's visible, it's already larger. So is the filling.
Myth 2: "X-rays expose my child to too much radiation."
We take 4 X-rays. A typical family dentist takes 16. Our full set delivers less radiation than 20 minutes of outdoor play in the California sun. We use digital X-rays and lead aprons — and we follow the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry guidelines on when they're actually needed.
Myth 3: "X-rays just confirm what you can already see."
Not even close. X-rays show us permanent teeth forming under the gums — years before they erupt. That's how we catch crowding, impacted teeth, and early bone issues while there's still time to do something about them.
We take the minimum needed. We explain every one. And we never take them just to take them.
