School spirit was on full display at Meadow Ridge! 🎓 From school colors and vintage sweatshirts to treasured memorabilia, residents celebrated their college connections during our “Celebrating Alma Maters” Mix-n-Mingle!

Jody and Nick L. showed their Wagner College pride and Bill B. cheered on Dartmouth. Resident Doug D. sported Pepperdine orange from head to toe, while John S. and John C. kept Princeton’s orange burning bright! Mary C. proudly represented the University of Michigan, with many more residents joining the fun.

Thursday afternoons in our community bring familiar melodies, favorite songs and 28 voices singing in harmony! 🎶🎹

Led by resident Louise K., with Joe H. on piano, the Meadowlarks sing-along featured classics including “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah,” “Sentimental Journey,” “Young at Heart” and “Me and My Shadow.”

The group saved “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” for the grand finale, getting everyone excited for postseason baseball! ⚾❤️

Music filled our three-story atrium as the Grammy-winning Czeiner Duo—Krystyana and James Czeiner—played violin and viola against a backdrop of lush greenery. 🎻✨

The husband-and-wife virtuosos, who first met at Juilliard, delighted residents with a beautiful live performance. Even our turtles and koi fish had front-row seats. 🐢🐟

Residents recently explored the art, nature and history of Weir Farm National Historical Park. 🎨🌿 Once home to American Impressionist J. Alden Weir, the landscape inspired decades of his work. Inside, unfinished portraits offered a fascinating look at his creative process, from carefully rendered faces to areas of canvas still taking shape.
