Rowell Family Empowerment of Northern California, Inc. Our mission is to empower people with diverse abilities and their families.

Thanks to our many grants and contracts we are able to offer services to children with diverse abilities, and their families throughout Northern California. The funding we receive allows us to offer a variety of services, depending on the county you live in. If you are the parent of a child with a disability, or special health need, there is no charge for our services.

The Mother-to-Mother Group starts this Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026!

This group provides a supportive place for new moms and birthing parents who may be navigating the heavy feelings that can come with postpartum life. If you’ve been wishing for a space to breathe, connect and be understood, we’d love to welcome you.

Future groups will be held biweekly on the first and third Thursdays of each month. There is no cost to join. No YMCA membership is needed. Childcare is available for children over one year and babies are always welcome in the group.
