As Heart Month continues, it's important to remember that most heart surgeries necessitate blood transfusions. My daughter's heart transplant required several units of blood, and her first rejection episode also needed blood products.

We came full circle when I worked for LifeStream Blood Bank, where we partnered with Harley Davidson on a blood drive campaign. They invited Hannah to be the featured story for the project, creating a lasting memory for her.
