Pickleball wrist pain usually isn’t a wrist problem. It’s a swing problem.
Here’s how we fixed it in 3 steps. 🏓👇
She started playing 5 days a week. Then her wrist started to hurt.
As a dentist, she uses her hands and wrists all day long.
Wrist pain wasn’t
just a pickleball problem. It was an everyday-life problem.
The usual advice is “just rest it” or “play less.“
She wanted a real answer:
WHY does it hurt?
Here’s what we found at our workshop. Many players swing with only their arm.
Your wrist ends up doing a job your whole body should share.
Play enough games and those small wrist muscles get overworked.
So we built her a simple 3-step plan:
STEP 1: CALM IT DOWN 💆♀️
We found where the pain was coming from and taught her a self-massage she can
do at home. She felt relief right there in the session.
STEP 2: BUILD THE SUPPORT 💪
We showed her how to turn on her core and back muscles so her wrist doesn’t
carry all the stress.
STEP 3: SWING WITH YOUR WHOLE BODY 🔄
Simple rotation drills teach her hips and trunk to power the swing, not just her wrist.
No pills. No guessing. Just massage, strength, and better movement.
Now she has a plan to keep playing the game she loves
AND protect the hands she needs for work 🙌
Your wrist shouldn’t do all the work. Your whole body should.
🏓 Do you play pickleball 3 or more days a week? Does your wrist or elbow hurt during or after games?
Comment “PADDLE” and we’ll send you the same self-massage and body-rotation tips we showed her.
