A pretty incredible week of learning in Wisconsin and a very cool person to meet along the way!

Members of our BestCare team recently had the opportunity to attend the 2026 Epic Users Group Meeting where healthcare organizations from around the country came together to learn, connect, and get a look at what's next in healthcare technology.

And yes…we got to meet Judy Faulkner, founder and CEO of Epic!

Through our partnership with OCHIN and use of the Epic Systems, technology plays an important role in how our teams coordinate care and support the people we serve.

Conferences like this give our staff an opportunity to step outside of the day-to-day, learn from others, bring home new ideas, and think about how we can continue doing things better at BestCare.

We're grateful for opportunities that keep our teams learning, growing, and looking ahead—and we're excited to bring some of that Wisconsin inspiration back home. 💛

Behind every overdose is a person. And behind every person are people who love them. 💜

On International Overdose Awareness Day, we remember the lives lost too soon.
We remember the parents, children, siblings, partners, friends, coworkers, and neighbors whose absence is felt every day.

And we recognize the people who are still here—those struggling with substance use, those finding their way into recovery, and those who continue to love and support them along the way.

Overdose is preventable. Treatment works. Recovery happens. And no one should be made to feel ashamed for needing help.

At BestCare Treatment Services, we believe compassion has to be part of the answer. So does access to treatment, harm reduction, medication, peer support, education, and a community willing to keep the door open.

Today, we remember without judgment.

We talk about overdose without shame.

And we keep working toward a future where fewer families have an empty seat at the table. 💜

For those we've lost. For those who love them. And for those still finding their way.

Our numbers are in! 💛

Last year, BestCare Treatment provided more than 99,000 behavioral health visits across the communities we serve.

That's care happening every day across Crook, Jefferson, Deschutes, and Klamath counties—from mental health and substance use treatment to residential care, addiction medicine, outpatient services, peer support, case management, and more.

But 99,000+ visits are more than a number.

They're people walking through our doors.

They're someone deciding to ask for help.

They're families finding support.

They're our teams showing up, day after day, to care for their communities.

This is more than a number. This is impact.

We're proud to share our 2026 Community Impact Report and a glimpse of what happens when compassionate care, dedicated employees, strong community partnerships, and access to treatment come together.

Take a look at what we've accomplished together. 💛

The Community, culture, and connection. 💛

BestCare Treatment proud to once again participate in the Latinos Unidos Conference, an event that brings people together around culturally responsive behavioral health, learning, connection, and strengthening services for Latino communities.

A special recognition goes to our Programa de Recuperación de Madras (PRM) team. Their care and dedication in helping organize this conference is evident in the details, the relationships, and the welcoming environment they help create. We’re incredibly proud of the work they do, not only within BestCare, but throughout the communities we serve.

We’re also grateful to stand alongside the many organizations supporting this year’s conference, including , Oregon Health Authority, ADPC, Continuum Behavioral Health & Recovery Services, El Jardin Recovery Centers, la Esperanza, Emergence Addiction and Behavioral Therapies, Lines For Life, GOBHI Foster Care, and PacificSource Health Plans

Events like this are a great reminder that meaningful behavioral health work doesn’t happen within the walls of one organization. It happens through partnership, shared learning, cultural understanding, and people who genuinely care about their communities.

To everyone who makes the Latinos Unidos conference happen, thank you for investing in this work and in one another. 💛

The people behind the scenes make a big difference in the care happening out front. 💛

Today we're highlighting Malena Madriz, Operations Manager for BestCare Treatment Jefferson County Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC).

For 14 years, Malena has been part of BestCare and deeply committed to our mission. In her current role, she helps keep a complex program moving, improving operations, optimizing workflows, strengthening systems, solving problems, and making sure teams have what they need to do their work well.

One of Malena's strengths is her ability to look beyond her own department and see the bigger picture. She understands that the work we do is interconnected and brings people together to find solutions that make processes easier for staff while continuing to provide excellent service to the people we serve.

She's passionate about building strong teams and partnerships, and she's simply an awesome partner to work with. Malena brings kindness, collaboration, and a genuine willingness to help to everything she does.

We appreciate the heart, experience, and steady leadership Malena brings to BestCare and the Jefferson County community.

Thank you, Malena, for 14 years of believing in our mission and helping make the work we do better. 💛

Vulnerable Post. 💛

Asking for help can feel incredibly vulnerable.

Sometimes making that first phone call means admitting something isn't okay. That life feels heavier than it should. That substance use has started getting in the way. That your mental health isn't where you want it to be. Or simply that what you've been doing on your own isn't working anymore.

That's not failure. That's being human.

Life is full of challenges, and there can be real freedom in realizing you don't have to figure everything out by yourself.

At BestCare Treatment we're not here to judge your story or tell you what your recovery should look like. We're here to listen, help you understand your options, and connect you with care that meets you where you are.

Sometimes strength looks like pushing through.

And sometimes strength looks like saying, "I could use some help."

If today happens to be that day, we're here.

A little Monday motivation for you...

Had a rough weekend? Start again.

Missed the appointment? Make another one.

Stopped going to group? Go back.

Didn't follow through on something you promised yourself? Today is another opportunity.

Recovery, mental health, and life in general can get messy. One difficult day—or even a difficult season—doesn't erase the progress you've made.

At BestCare, we'll keep meeting you where you are.

Even if we've met you there before.

Happy Monday. 💛
