BestCare Treatment We're here when you are ready. Visit us at: http://www.bestcaretreatment.org Best Care Treatment Services is a non profit substance abuse treatment facility.

We provide a variety of services including Medical Detox , In-Patient Residential Care and Out Patient Services, Vivitrol, pain management program co-occurring, and mental heath services. We are located in the Deschutes, Jefferson and Klamath Counties. Best Care Treatment Services believes to treat addiction we need to target the needs of the whole person in a social context, as it relates to each individuals recovery from addiction. We keep our focus on the real target: abstinence from alcohol and other drugs, and increased quality of life in the areas of family work and community. Recovery from addiction requires a life style change based on staying sober one day at a time. At Best Care Treatment Services we use a array of research based best practice approaches to treatment. Our treatment is aimed specifically at increasing motivation for recovery, developing the skills to sustain recovery, and building the support network that is crucial in remaining free from active addiction.

What does it mean when we say BestCare provides a continuum of care?

It means there isn't just one door into treatment—and there isn't just one way forward.

Someone may first connect with us through a peer support specialist, a mental health appointment, or a visit to our medical clinic. Another person may need withdrawal management, residential treatment, or ongoing outpatient support.

And as their needs change, their care can change with them.

At BestCare Treatment our services include:

✅ Mental health counseling and community behavioral health services

✅ Withdrawal management and residential treatment

🩺 Addiction medicine and medication-supported recovery

✅ Outpatient substance use treatment

✅ Peer support, recovery resources, and community connections

✅ Specialized services for families, children, and culturally diverse communities

Because recovery and mental wellness aren't always a straight line.

Sometimes people need more support. Sometimes they need less. Sometimes they need someone to help them figure out the next step.

For nearly 30 years, BestCare has worked to build connections between these services so individuals and families throughout Central Oregon and Klamath Falls can find care that meets their needs.

Something important is coming back to Redmond. 💛

After a long-awaited renovation and a lot of work behind the scenes, we’re excited to be preparing for the reopening of BestCare’s Withdrawal Management facility in Redmond in early 2027!

Our teams have been working diligently to get this facility ready so we can once again provide this important level of care close to home—and we’re hiring now as we build the team that will make it possible.

While we prepare for reopening, BestCare’s other programs and facilities remain open and serving our communities. For individuals who qualify, outpatient withdrawal management is also available through the BestCare Medical Clinic.

A Home Made Possible by Community 🏘️

We are incredibly grateful to Ashley Furniture Bend, Oregon for helping make our Nurture Oregon home feel like home.

Through their generous support in furnishing this space, families who walk through these doors will have a comfortable, welcoming place to stay while receiving the support they need. This home is expected to serve 20–40 Central Oregon families each year, and every chair and gathering space will be part of their experience here.

We’re continually reminded how fortunate BestCare Treatment is to be surrounded by businesses and community members who step up when there is a need.

Stigma remains one of the greatest barriers to recovery—not addiction itself.

Research from the National Institute on Drug Abuse and SAMHSA consistently shows that stigma surrounding substance use disorders and mental health conditions delays treatment, reduces access to care, and contributes to poorer health outcomes.

The words we choose matter.

When we replace judgment with , we create space for people to seek help earlier. When we recognize addiction and mental health disorders as treatable health conditions—not moral failures—we strengthen our communities and improve lives.

At BestCare Treatment we see the person before we see the diagnosis.

Behind every individual is a story that deserves compassion, dignity, and evidence-based care. Some people arrive after years of struggle. Others seek help before life reaches a crisis. Every journey is different, but each one deserves the opportunity to heal.

Reducing stigma isn't just about changing language—it's about changing outcomes.

BestCare Treatment was so grateful to participate and support such a powerful event like the St. Charles Health System, 27th annual Heaven Can Wait, 5k, that brought people together through support, remembrance and shared commitment to one another.

Better care starts with continuing to learn.

BestCare Treatment was proud to co-sponsor a full day of training focused on building greater confidence and competence in assessing and treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

Alongside Deschutes County and St. Charles Health System, behavioral health professionals from across our community came together to learn about integrated care, assessment, harm reduction, stigma reduction, addiction medicine, treatment for adolescents and young adults, and practical clinical approaches.

Mental health and substance use don't always happen separately—and our care shouldn't either.

Thank you to our presenters, community partners, and everyone who spent the day learning together. Stronger providers and stronger partnerships help build healthier communities. 💛
