🌟 Staff Spotlight: Laurel! 👩‍🍳🌟

Today we’re shining the spotlight on Laurel, one of our wonderful Culinary Assistants! Laurel brings such a warm, upbeat spirit to our team and puts care into everything she does. She’s hardworking, kind, a fantastic cook, and always ready to brighten someone’s day.

The kindness and sweetness Laurel shows our residents and tenants AND her fellow teammates doesn’t go unnoticed. We’re so grateful for the heart she brings to our facility each day.

Who's ready for another *corny* post?

Our RCAC tenants and Reminisce Adult Day Services clients rolled up their sleeves and spent the morning husking fresh sweet corn together. They lovingly put in the work before enjoying the reward at lunch! There’s just something special about fresh corn on the cob in the summertime, especially when you helped prepare it yourself.

Good company, a little hard work, and sweet corn for lunch! A Wisconsin summer tradition we’re always happy to keep alive! Thank you to our wonderful staff and volunteers for helping make this special treat possible.

We had a hunk, a hunk of burnin' fun during Elvis Tribute Week July 6th-10th! From the rockabilly days to Blue Hawaii and Las Vegas, we celebrated the many eras of Elvis Presley with music, laughter, costumes, sweet treats, and wonderful memories. Thank you to everyone who joined in the fun and helped make the week so special. The King may have left the building, but the smiles are here to stay! 🎸👑

✨Staff Spotlight✨
Meet Matt, our wonderful Environmental Services Manager here at RASLC! Matt is one of the many reasons the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center feels so welcoming and well cared for. He's hardworking, kind, quick with a joke, and always willing to lend a hand to residents, tenants, and his teammates alike.

Thanks in part to Matt's dedication and hard work, our 20-year-old building still looks brand new, and the compliments we receive are a testament to the pride he takes in his work every day. We're so grateful for all he does. Thank you, Matt!

We asked our residents what their favorite part of the 4th of July is, and the most common answer was clear… 🎆 Fireworks!
But the holiday means so much more than that. Residents also shared their love for family gatherings, hometown parades, delicious holiday food, and honoring the brave men and women who have served our country.
Thank you to our residents for sharing the traditions and memories that make Independence Day so special.

Last week was National Skilled Nursing Care Week, and we celebrated our incredible with special meals, sweet treats, thoughtful gifts, and beautiful decorations: all to honor the amazing people who make the Reedsburg Area Senior Life Center feel like home every single day.

Your compassion, dedication, patience, and love do not go unnoticed. Thank you for the countless “moments in bloom” you create for our residents and each other through your care and kindness. We are so grateful for this hardworking, compassionate team and appreciate everything you do!
