Very proud of PC3’s Mandy Mims!!!

Mandy began her healthcare journey as a nursing assistant and worked her way through a variety of roles, including long-term care, hospital nursing, clinic practice, nursing leadership, surgical services, and maternal health coordination. A graduate of Shelton State, she has dedicated her career to serving patients in rural Alabama and currently works as a Clinical Specialist in a primary care clinic, where no two days are ever the same.
Nursing has always been her calling, and Mandy cannot imagine doing anything else. Although she never expected to serve on the Alabama Board of Nursing, she considers it an honor and has enjoyed learning more about the profession from a regulatory perspective. Mandy hopes others will consider serving if given the opportunity, and feels that the experience is rewarding, educational, and a chance to help shape the future of nursing in Alabama.

Reform will have a Planned Water outage on Wednesday 8/5/26 from 9am-4pm. We will be contacting patients who are scheduled for 8/5/26 to reschedule or move your appointment. We will have 2 clinicians in the county seeing patients at some other locations and will work to get you rescheduled or moved as quickly as possible. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we deal with the planned outage.

The last few weeks, the PC3 Smart Clinics have completed over 350 sports physicals for Pickens County students. This is in conjunction with Encore Physical Therapy who help us with the musculoskeletal exams. Thank you to Dr. Drake Lavender who also assisted today with Gordo as well. The donation fee for these physicals is returned to the schools to purchase athletic training supplies and wrap for the upcoming seasons. We wish all of our athletes and their schools a great season next year. This year we were able to go to Pickens Academy, Aliceville High School, Pickens County High School and Gordo High School. (I missed getting a picture at PA). We had the fewest “not cleared” students ever—meaning your athletes are healthy and their forms were completed appropriately! You should be proud of your kids and their teams—they were good representatives!
