We enjoyed a visit from Mr. Wally’s Petting Zoo last week! Everyone enjoyed the visit and some even got to ride a camel! Summer fun is just getting started! 🐫🐐

A big shout out to our May Employee of the Month, Lashonda! She always has a smile on her face and makes our facility look so good! She loves the Residents and is always going the extra mile to help! Congrats Lashonda and thank you for your hard work!

Day 5- 90’s Block Party & Family Cookout
We closed out Nursing Home Week with a cookout and a 90s theme party! We were so glad that our Residents’ families were able to hang out with us! We ended the day with employee giveaways! A special thanks to for grilling for us! Thank you to everyone that helped with Nursing Home Week and made it so special!

Day 4 🌸Nursing Home Week 2026
We had a groovy time celebrating Nurse Practitioner, Darlene’s retirement! We are going to miss her and we thank her for all her years of dedication to Arbor Woods and our Residents! We boogied on down!

Day 3 of National Nursing Home Week
We took it way back to the 1950s with a sock hop! Everyone enjoyed milkshakes and special music guests! Thank you to Encompass Home Health & Hospice and IBH for the milkshakes!

We were in our Roaring 20’s era and had special music, mocktails, and snacks! Followed by employee games!
