Lorene is such a sweet, kind, and wonderful lady. Her warm smile, loving spirit, and joyful personality make her a true delight to be around. We are so grateful for all the happiness and love she brings to those around her, and we cherish her more than words can say.

We celebrated her special day with great grandchildren, a hamburger and hotdog cookout, followed by a fun visit from Sammy and the tortoises on the front porch! 🐢❤️

We had a wonderful time this week welcoming Tamila from our friends at Hendlee Home Care! 💙

Tamila spent the morning with a few of our ladies painting beautiful barn quilts on canvas, and it was such a fun and meaningful activity. There were lots of smiles, laughter, and creativity shared around the table. 🎨🌻

Thank you, Tamila, for taking the time to brighten our residents’ day and create such special memories. We truly appreciate your kindness and the partnership we share with Hendlee Home Care. It’s these moments of joy and connection that make our home so special. ❤️

💙 CNA & PCA Week Spotlight: Madison 💙

We took a little break, but we’re excited to continue celebrating the incredible caregivers who make Chilton Family Care Homes so special!

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on Madison.

Madison is the caring heart behind many of our nights at the Upper House. While most of us are asleep, she is making sure our residents are comfortable, safe, and well cared for. She goes above and beyond to meet their needs throughout the night and always leaves things organized and prepared so her coworkers can start the next day off on the right foot.

Her quiet dedication, dependability, and compassionate spirit make a lasting impact on our residents and our team.

When asked why she loves being a CNA, Madison shared:

“I love being a CNA because it allows me to connect with and care for residents. I enjoy building relationships with my residents, providing support, always listening to them, and helping them maintain their comfort and independence. Knowing that I can help residents and comfort them is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. Even though I work the night shift, the little moments I get with them make my day.”

Those “little moments” are exactly what make Madison such a wonderful caregiver. She understands that exceptional care isn’t just about completing tasks, it’s about building relationships, offering comfort, and making every resident feel valued.

💙 CNA & PCA Week Spotlight: Kelsey 💙

Continuing to recognize our team even though June is officially gone! Today we are proud to recognize Kelsey for her dedication, growth, and compassionate heart.

Over the past two years, we have had the privilege of watching Kelsey grow from a PCA into a CNA, and she continues to set her sights even higher as she works toward her dream of becoming a nurse. Her commitment to learning and serving others is inspiring, and we couldn’t be more proud of the path she is on.

Kelsey is the steady presence behind many of our night shifts, making sure our residents are safe, comfortable, and cared for while most of the world is asleep. Her calm demeanor and caring spirit provide peace of mind for our residents, their families, and our team. Night shift often goes unseen, but the impact Kelsey makes is felt every single day.

When asked why she loves being a CNA, Kelsey shared:

“Being a CNA has taught me so much more than just how to care for people—it has taught me to appreciate all the little things in life. Caring for and serving others has always been important to me. I believe serving others is one of the greatest ways to love people the way God wants us to. It is such a privilege to be able to care for those in need.”

💙 CNA & PCA Week Spotlight: Emily 💙

Today we are excited to recognize Emily for the compassion, dedication, and joy she brings to Chilton Family Care Homes.

Emily has a special gift for helping our ladies look and feel their very best. Whether she’s fixing their hair, helping them get ready for the day, or simply offering a kind smile and gentle encouragement, she helps each resident feel confident, cared for, and loved. Her kind and gentle spirit shines through in every interaction and is one of the many reasons our residents adore her.

We are also incredibly proud of Emily as she continues to excel in nursing school! She is absolutely crushing it and is on track to graduate next spring as a Registered Nurse. Watching her grow into the nurse she is becoming has been a privilege, and we know she will make an incredible impact wherever her career takes her.

When asked why she loves being a CNA, Emily shared:

“I love being a CNA at Chilton’s because of the relationships you create with each resident. They become family, and seeing their smile when they see you makes everything worth it! I wouldn’t be the CNA I am today without Chilton’s!” 🩷

Although Heidy has only been with us for a short time, she has embraced our mission of caring for residents like family. From the moment she joined our team, she has shown a natural gift for caregiving. She goes above and beyond to make our residents feel comfortable, respected, and loved, always looking for ways to brighten their day with her kindness and gentle spirit.

Heidy’s heart for serving others is evident in every interaction. She understands that exceptional care isn’t just about meeting needs, it’s about making meaningful connections and helping each resident feel seen and valued.

When asked why she loves being a PCA, Heidy shared:

“What I love most about being a PCA is seeing the impact I can make with kindness, patience, and support. Even small acts of care can make a big difference in someone’s day. I also love building meaningful connections with our residents and seeing a smile on their face. That makes my day ten times better. 💙 CNA & PCA Week Spotlight: Kyndall 💙

Today we are excited to recognize Kyndall as part of our CNA & PCA Week celebration!

Kyndall recently celebrated her first anniversary with Chilton Family Care Homes, and we are so thankful she chose to be part of our family. From the very beginning, she has brought a fun, upbeat energy to our team that brightens the days of both our residents and coworkers.

Our residents love Kyndall’s positive personality, calming smile, and the genuine kindness she shows to everyone she meets. She has a special way of making people feel comfortable, heard, and cared for.

We are also incredibly proud of Kyndall as she begins nursing school this fall! Her compassion, work ethic, and servant’s heart are just a few of the qualities that will make her an exceptional nurse. We can’t wait to watch her continue to grow and achieve her dreams.

When asked why she loves being a CNA, Kyndall shared:

“I love being a CNA because I feel like I can make a difference in someone’s day, even if it’s something small. I love seeing the residents smile and knowing I helped make their day a little better. I enjoy listening to their stories and learning about their lives, families, and experiences before I met them. Many of them are such good people who have worked hard and made a difference in the lives of others. It’s an honor to be able to take care of them and give back to people who have given so much throughout their lives. I also like being someone they can talk to when they feel lonely. One of my favorite parts of being a CNA is just sitting and talking with them and being there for them.”
