We had a beautiful first session of Oaklore! We sat in a peaceful space and began to let creativity flow through practice and discussion. Finally, as Titan acclimates to grass and the herd, our final task was bringing him in and getting him settled for the evening!

Time for a reflection post! We’ve shared that this month marks 5 years of service to our community. April marked 4 years at our current home. April and May of this year brought so many significant improvements to the property. The first four pictures is now and the last 4 pictures is when we moved in 4 years ago. We didn’t even have the outer stalls that we have now. We just had the barn. We walked horses from stalls on other parts of the property and we made it work. For years we coordinated and cleaned the best we could with what we had. Overtime extra stalls began to appear closer to us. A boy scout built us extra stalls on top of that. Most recently built our round pen, fixed fences, and landscaped our space. Words are not enough to describe how grateful we are! This month we had our first Community Day at the barn, made improvements to the farm, grown our services and reach of services, and added a Titan of a horse. We can’t wait to see what is in store moving forward! Thank you to for topping off our welcome space with a meaningful, beautiful sculpture!

We are thrilled to share a new development at Lone Oak! With consistently growing demand, we have long prioritized expanding our services to include insurance (alongside private pay). As you know, Abbie recently passed a big exam (LCSW) that allows us to accept insurance for our individual therapy services. This creates even more capacity and flexibility in addition to our current services. Please note, this does not change our current offering of services, but broadens our reach. Abbie will also be offering more extended hours throughout the week. While the list is still growing, we can currently accept Independence Blue Cross PA, Aetna, Capital Blue Cross PA, Cigna, Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, Geisinger, The Health Plan, and Carelon. We will make updates to the list as we receive them! If you are interested in services please reach out to Abbie at [email protected].
