While the dawn of 4-years old brings a happy and cooperative child that shows a love for new things, friendships, praying to God and a vivid imagination… The 4.5-year leap brings in more Bam Margera and Johnny Knoxville vibes..

Such a simple movement, but also so impactful on development.

Without proper development of this reflex you are more likely to see:

While the of dawn of 3-years old brings a happier, more cooperative toddler that enjoys routines and predictability and can ask for help.. The 3.5-years leap brings in old vibes of the 2.5-year leap, but on steroids. It’s the beginning of yet another tantrum stage with poor impulse control and much bigger feelings.

This week we will be taking a look at Emotional Leaps!

What are emotional leaps? They are 6-month stretches of time where your child goes through a state of immense growth: cognitively, physically, emotionally, and socially. Kind of like the Wonder Weeks that all of us moms looked at when our children were little, but on a bigger scale for longer periods of time.

Every child goes through these leaps, and at the completion of each you get new skills. But sometimes, if the nervous system is not functioning correctly, your child can get stuck in one of these leaps. This means every time your child gets overwhelmed, they resort to a younger behavior profile. This can look like a 6-7 year old consistently acting like a 2 year old every time they are upset.

With our 12 week program, we identify the nervous system delays and then determine which emotional leap your child has gotten stuck in. Over the course of their program, as their system develops, your child grows through each missed / incomplete leap. And by the end of their program, their emotional age will match their chronological age so they can respond appropriately to every day situations.
