The Nevada Diabetes Association is proud to announce that nominations are open for the 2026 Mylan Hawkins Diabetes Community Impact Award!

This award honors an individual who demonstrates dedication, leadership, and meaningful impact in shaping the future of diabetes care and community support.

Do you know someone who advocates for people affected by diabetes, promotes education and healthy diabetes management, builds meaningful connections, or goes above and beyond to support the diabetes community? We want to hear their story!

✨ Nomination deadlines:
• Round 1: October 23 – November 6, 2026, closing at 11:59 PM PST
• Round 2: November 8 – November 20, 2026

Finalists will be notified and invited to attend the 10th Annual Winter Wonderland Gala as honored guests. The award recipient will be announced during the gala on December 10, 2026, at Atlantis Casino Resort & Spa in Reno, Nevada.

Please complete all fields on the nomination form, as incomplete nominations may not be considered.

November is diabetes awareness month and we are heading back up to Tahoe to watch our local hockey team, the Tahoe Knight Monsters take on the New Mexico Goatheads.

25% of all ticket proceeds purchased through this link will go directly back to the Nevada Diabetes Association!
