What's in the milk?
Idaho health officials are investigating an outbreak of illnesses linked to raw (unpasteurized) milk.
Since May 19, nearly 60 people have reportedly become ill, with at least 45 testing positive for Campylobacter infection.
The investigation is ongoing, and officials are continuing to test milk samples and identify additional cases.
Campylobacter can cause diarrhea, fever, stomach cramps, nausea, and vomiting, usually beginning 2–5 days after exposure.
