As cold and flu season is upon us and children are back to school, one of our BEST defenses against the spread of infection is HAND WASHING! ✋🏻 🧼 Be diligent and wash yours and your children’s hands often! This could be the very key to staying healthy against those nasty, unwanted germs! 🦠

☎️ Going to TRY THIS AGAIN! Tomorrow, Thursday, we are undergoing a complete phone and internet upgrade in our office. It could not be completed last week because, well, they forgot the phones! Anywho, PLEASE be very patient with us as they are arriving between 10am-12pm. This may take up to an hour, but if it takes longer PLEASE be patient! This is a super important undertaking that needs done and will improve the quality of MANY things in our office.

As always, please remember that all emergencies should ALWAYS call 911 or direct yourself to the CLOSEST ED. Do not wait for our phone lines to be up and functioning for an emergency. Also, please download the “Follow My Health” app if you need something such as a refill during this downtime. On any given workday, the FollowMyHealth app can ALWAYS and we encourage it to be utilized for refills and basic questions.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience with this! 👨🏼‍⚕️

Today!! FYI! 📞

09/03/2026

📞 Thursday September 10 our office is undergoing a phone/internet upgrade. It is scheduled between 10am-12noon. Our lines will be down for approximately 30 minutes. Please be patient if you call and can not get through. This upgrade is necessary to our growing practice and will be a huge benefit when complete. In the meantime if you have an emergency, go to the nearest emergency department or call 911. Do not wait in an emergency situation until someone answers our phone lines. You may also utilize the APP: FOLLOWMYHEALTH to send non-urgent messages and request refills during this downtime. We urge everyone to download the app and begin utilizing it as much as possible for refill requests and non-urgent messages/questions.

**Our phone number and fax number WILL NOT BE CHANGING.**

Thank you for your patience while we complete this on September 10!

Go PURPLE in June! 💜

June is National Alzheimer’s and Brain Awareness Month! Alzheimer’s is a progressive brain disorder that affects one’s memory, thinking skills and the ability to carry out normal daily tasks. This disorder is not reversible and has been determined to NOT be a normal part of aging. Although we know the cause of dementia is due to a buildup of proteins (Amyloid Plaques and Tau Tangles) in the brain, the exact cause of those buildups has not been determined. Every brain has Amyloid, and a healthy brain will break down those peptides and eliminate them. Unfortunately, an unhealthy brain will have Amyloid that begin to stick together and form plaques. These plaques have the ability to hinder brain function which may impair one’s cognitive abilities. One way to help in the healthy maintenance of brain cells is to maintain a healthy immune system! For proper ways to do that, and for the best nutritional information to maintain brain health, always speak to your physician! Too much of something can be just as harmful as not enough! Never begin supplements without the guidance of your physician!
