This Fourth of July, York North was honored to welcome a very special visitor—our favorite four-legged friend, Buddy! 🐾 Dressed in his patriotic best, Buddy spent the day bringing smiles, comfort, and plenty of tail wags to our residents. Moments like these remind us that the greatest celebrations are the ones we share together.

Our professional chef did it again! 🐟🍤🌺

Today’s seafood dinner was a huge success! Our ladies enjoyed a delicious spread of crispy fried fish, fries, and all the tropical island vibes. Every plate was prepared with care, bringing smiles, laughter, and wonderful memories around the table.

A very special thank you to Chef Matthew Michael for taking the time to come in and prepare such an incredible meal for our residents. Your generosity, talent, and dedication made the day extra special, and our ladies truly enjoyed every bite. We are so grateful for the care and heart you put into making this a memorable experience.

We treated our team to a Hydration Station featuring lemon & cucumber water and watermelon & mint water. We also had chapstick and face masks available for a little extra self-care. 😊

Last week, we came together to honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the enduring spirit of unity.

Our residents and staff enjoyed a sweet treat with delicious root beer floats, lots of smiles, and great conversation. Moments like these remind us of the importance of celebrating history, embracing diversity, and creating meaningful memories together.

Residents and staff came together for an afternoon full of laughter, splashes, and unforgettable memories. From surprise soakings to friendly water balloon battles, everyone enjoyed cooling off while creating moments of joy and connection.

🎉 Meet Two of York North’s Finest! 🎉

First up, we have Buddy, our highly trained and dedicated Activities Aide. Buddy specializes in resident engagement, morale boosting, hallway patrol, snack quality assurance, and accepting unlimited belly rubs. His daily duties include greeting staff, making residents smile, supervising activities from the best nap locations, and ensuring everyone maintains proper badge compliance. 🐾

Next, meet Trixie, our Administrative Assistant and unofficial Director of Keeping Everyone in Line. Trixie keeps the office running smoothly, answers questions before you’ve finished asking them, and somehow knows where every piece of paperwork is at all times. If you’ve ever forgotten something important, Trixie probably already reminded you about it twice. 😆

Together, Buddy and Trixie make the perfect team. Buddy provides emotional support and tail wags, while Trixie provides organization, direction, and the occasional look that says, “You know better.”

Our CNAs are the heart of our facility, showing compassion, dedication, and kindness to our residents while making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Their hard work, patience, and commitment do not go unnoticed. Whether offering a helping hand, a comforting smile, or exceptional care, our CNAs consistently go above and beyond to ensure our residents feel valued, respected, and cared for.
