Good news, Rensselaer! The Boil Water Advisory has officially been lifted. 💧
Residents in the affected area may now return to their normal water use.

🚨💧 ATTENTION RENSSELAER – BOIL WATER ADVISORY 💧🚨
The City of Rensselaer Water Department has issued a Boil Water Advisory for customers located between 3455 W. Clark St. and 9439 IN-114.
This advisory is due to a fire hydrant being damaged by a tractor, causing a loss of pressure in the water main. Crews are currently working on repairs, and customers in the affected area have been notified.
💧 If you are in the affected area:
• Please use bottled water for drinking and cooking, OR boil tap water for at least 3 minutes before use.
• Tap water may still be used for washing and bathing.
• The advisory is expected to remain in effect for the next 48 hours.
