We had an amazing time attending BestieFest and celebrating alongside so many incredible small businesses, and community members from across the Capital Region!

We are honored to have been named a Finalist for Best Funeral Home by the readers of Capital Region Living Magazine. 🏅

Thank you to our supporters and the families who have placed their trust in us over the years. In the funeral profession, we often meet people during some of life's darkest and most difficult moments. Through those experiences, many families become much more than clients, they become part of our extended family. It is a privilege to walk alongside them, offer guidance, and provide care when it is needed most.

I would also like to extend a special thank you to my colleagues. It is an honor to work alongside such a compassionate, dedicated, and professional team. This recognition reflects the commitment, care, and hard work each of them brings to the families we serve every day, and I am grateful to be part of such an exceptional group.

While awards and recognition are appreciated, the greatest reward is earning the trust of the families who allow us to serve them. We remain committed to providing compassionate care, meaningful guidance, and unwavering support to our community for generations to come.

Thank you again to everyone who voted for us, supported us, and continues to place their confidence in our funeral home. We are truly grateful.

Today, with heavy hearts, we share the obituary of our dear friend, colleague, and fellow funeral director, Richard “Dick” Gagnon.

Over the past three years, we were blessed to work alongside Dick and develop a bond and friendship that truly felt like family. His kindness, compassion, and dedication touched countless families throughout Columbia County and Southern Rensselaer County during a remarkable career spanning more than 40 years.

Dick served his community with dignity, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to helping families through some of life's most difficult moments.

Dick will also be remembered for his incredible sense of humor. He had a way of making everyone smile, lightening even the toughest days, and bringing laughter to those around him. His friendship, wisdom, and caring nature will be deeply missed.
We are heartbroken by this loss and grateful for the time we were able to spend with him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his beloved wife, Cheryl, and his daughters, Regina and Celia, and his extended family during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the love of family, friends, colleagues, and the many people whose lives Dick touched throughout his lifetime of service.

Rest in peace, Dick. Your legacy of compassion, friendship, and service will never be forgotten. ❤️
