Congratulations to all of the finalists and winners of Best of Renton 2026!

While we didn’t take home the win for Best of Renton 2026, being named a finalist still feels pretty dang surreal.

Out of all the incredible businesses and practitioners in our community, simply being mentioned in the same conversation is an honor I don’t take lightly.

To every single person who voted, shared, supported, cheered me on, booked a session, sent kind words, or trusted me with your healing journey — thank you. Truly. This little business has been built through connection, word of mouth, and a whole lot of heart.

Even a year ago, I never would have imagined some of the doors that would open or the people I’d have the opportunity to connect with. I’m so grateful to be where I am today, and I’m so excited for the journey ahead — wherever it may lead.

And there’s always next year. 😉✨

I'm back in the office!
I've missed you all!

We just got back from an incredible journey north to visit Alaska and Canada. We took a 7 day cruise to see glaciers, visit Skagway, Juneau, and Ketchikan, Alaska before coming back south to visit Victoria, Canada.

It's moments like these that I remember how important it is to slow down and just enjoy the moment. No wifi while on the boat or cell service. Just enjoying each other's company and being in awe of the beauty around us in nature.

I sang in front of a crowd- not well, though, so dont get too excited lol. It helped knowing I was NEVER seeing the other passengers again. 😂

I saw the northern lights, I saw whales, deer, baby seal, birds, so many flowers, and immersed myself in the history of each location and just absorbed it all in.

Also got my sea legs in! It was surprisingly difficult to get back to walking on land after just a week. 😅

It was so incredible waking up every day to a different spectacular view. I look forward to going again to see MORE of beautiful Alaska. I'm so grateful to even be able to do a trip like this, so thank you, everyone. 💜

And until next time, Alaska!

In the meantime, I'm riding this new wave of inspiration to new adventures. ✨️

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers, grandmothers, aunties, bonus moms, chosen moms, pet moms, mentors, caretakers, and every soul who has ever held someone together with love, patience, snacks, and pure willpower.

Today is for those who nurture, protect, teach, guide, and show up again and again even on the days they’re running on caffeine, dry shampoo, and vibes.

And for those grieving today… Those missing their mothers, longing to become one, estranged from one, or carrying complicated feelings around this day — I see you too. 💜

Mother’s Day can hold both warmth and ache at the same time. Please, be gentle with yourself today.

However today finds you, I hope you feel held, loved, and reminded that your care has mattered more than you probably know.

"IT’S GONNA BE MAY!" 😉
Happy May 1st!

This month’s word is "rooted"!

It feels especially fitting as we move through this season between Beltane and the Flower Full Moon- a time of growth, bloom, and becoming.

Rooted doesn’t mean stuck or staying the same.
It means feeling supported in who you are while still allowing yourself to grow. It’s tending to your foundation, your energy, your boundaries, and your needs so everything else has something steady to rise from.

This time of year reminds us that growth isn’t rushed and it's not a race, but happens naturally when we feel safe enough to expand.

So this month, I’m focusing on slowing down and checking in as I create stability within myself.

The deeper the roots, the more room there is to grow.

Always remember:
- You are allowed to take up space.
- You are allowed to grow.
- And you are safe to root into who you are.

I love them.🥹💜

I hate getting my picture taken. Well... USED to now! I never knew what to do with my body and I always felt so awkward, but Megan always makes it so fun, easy and seamless. NOTHING about working with Megan made me feel awkward. I, genuinely, had so much fun, and I learned a lot about posing and positioning with her guidance.

I highly recommend working with her for professional photography and branding help.

Happy Self-Reflection Sunday!

This weekend we went on a girl's getaway to celebrate our friend getting married and it was exactly what we all needed.

A little bit of time to do absolutely nothing... together.
To just EXIST. To just be.
And that was enough.

We all, consistently, live our lives on the go. Whether that be with our families, our businesses, or our own personal stuff going on, we're always "on". Always doing something.

We rented a small house in Ashford, WA, checked in and mentally checked out. We laughed a lot, ate a lot, made homemade pizza, sat in a hot tub, lit a bonfire, ate dinner at Mill Hause Cider Co in Eatonville, visited the general store's shop cat, enjoyed just co-existing with each other. No expectations. No pressure. Settling into the quiet of nature.

When we talk about doing things for self care, it can really look like anything. If it reignites you and makes you feel refreshed and back to yourself, it is self care.

Whether that be snacking around a bonfire, screaming into the woods, dancing to early 2000s music, taking a bath, getting a massage, or coloring... it all matters.

🦋 In what ways do you practice self care? And more importantly- when was the last time?

I'm so grateful I had the opportunity to experience stillness this weekend. Things have felt heavy all around. Even I have to remember to slow down and this was a perfect reminder that it's important.

Hi, I’m Sam!

I'm a licensed massage therapist of 10 years (still kind of in disbelief about that), and the human behind Solavi Wellness.

First and foremost, I am not a social media content creator.
I’m just someone showing up, learning as I go, and hoping to create a space that feels real… and human.

Because truthfully… this makes me uncomfortable. Being seen so fully and letting myself take up space in a different way.

And I keep thinking... how can I ask others to soften, to open, and to be vulnerable if I’m not willing to meet myself there first?

So this is me, choosing to be courageous by showing up anyway. Figuring it out as I go.

There might be some fumbling, some “record, delete, record again” moments, and a LOT of overthinking, but maybe that’s part of it too.

If you’re here, I’m really glad you are.
Thank you for being on this journey with me and figuring out this human experience together.

Happy Self-Reflection Sunday!

What a full day.

We spent a good part of it at downtown Renton’s Dragon’s Landing Celebration — walking around, admiring the costumes, watching performances, and exploring all the different booths. It was such a lovely time.

My son got to create at Tomato Tomato’s sword and shield crafting booth, and it was so fun seeing everyone’s ideas come to life in their own unique way.

We also stopped by the Adventure’s Guild at the Renton Eagles and learned how to play Magic: The Gathering. My son was a HUGE fan. We’re so grateful for their patience in teaching complete newbies like us, so thank you!

On our way back, we even learned how to axe throw. It took a few tries (and a little patience), but we got it!

By the time we got home, we were feeling inspired to spend some time in the garden.

We cleared weeds, upgraded pots that had been outgrown, prepped our planter boxes, and planted our first veggies together.

Now we wait… patiently… for our turnips, carrots, and flowers to grow. Patiently.

Speaking of patience.... I learned about the rare and endangered trillium wildflowers today. Did you know they can take 7 or more years to bloom from seed? Seven years of unseen growth before anything appears.

It really puts things into perspective.

So today felt like a gentle reminder- through play, learning, and nature- not everything happens right away.

We can't wait to see when things start to grow! Even if it does take some time.
