This week our new first year residents joined us at Valley Family medicine! Every year the graduating third year residents present the incoming first years with their new long white coat and welcome them the program.

We also honor our graduating residents with gifts, food, and appreciation for their 3 years of hard work.

Lastly we honor our attending physicians, specifically Dr. Fang (internal medicine) and Dr. Martin (OBGYN) who have gone above and beyond to teach and support our residents through the years. Also huge shoutout to Dr. Rosenblum who won the R2 teaching award!!

On April 27th our amazing Valley Family Medicine Residents had the opportunity to visit Lindbergh High School’s HOSA meeting!
 
Our resident ambassadors included Drs. Tong, Herbig, Hancock and McClendon. They answered questions from high school students interested in joining the healthcare professions and provided hands on demonstrations of ultrasound, contraceptive care, and how to deliver babies! This is just one of many examples of VFM outreaching to the community beyond our clinic walls.
