We’ve had the privilege of caring for this sweet little one since he was a newborn, and hearing how much our team has meant to their family truly means the world to us. 🥹💙

🩺 Molluscum Contagiosum: What Parents Should Know

Have you noticed small, flesh-colored or pink bumps on your child's skin with a tiny dimple in the center? It could be molluscum contagiosum, a common viral skin infection seen in children.

✅ Usually harmless
✅ Common in children ages 1-10
✅ Can spread through skin-to-skin contact or shared items like towels and toys
✅ Often goes away on its own, although it may take several months to clear completely

💡 To help prevent spreading: • Encourage good handwashing • Avoid scratching or picking at the bumps • Don't share towels, clothing, or personal items • Cover lesions when possible, especially during sports or swimming

While molluscum is usually not dangerous, it's always a good idea to have any new rash or skin bumps evaluated by your child's healthcare provider if you're unsure what they are.
