You may have noticed that microgreens are suddenly everywhere. Different brands are coming out with them and everyone is running to sell these products out. Honestly, I couldn’t be more excited.

Microgreens are AMAZING. Our mission in starting this company was to help everyone know of these baby greens! The more people learn about microgreens, the more people have the opportunity to make informed decisions about what they’re putting into their bodies.

Every day I’ll answer one question about microgreens—from what they are to how to choose a quality product.

A year can change so much… and not nearly enough.

This time last year, I walked into this same event hoping we would simply make it through the weekend. I had no idea what the next twelve months would hold.

Some prayers have been answered.
Others we’re still waiting on.

Cancer is still part of our story. Our little newborn is now one. And PICK’D has grown from a dream that only a handful of people knew about into something thousands have now experienced.

Looking back, I realized, we spend so much of life waiting to “arrive.” Waiting until things are easier. Waiting until the hard chapter is over. Waiting until we finally feel successful.

But sometimes the miracle isn’t arriving. Sometimes it’s looking back and realizing you’ve kept going. You’re STILL HERE.

If there’s one thing this journey has taught me, it’s that small, consistent choices matter. One conversation. One act of kindness. One step forward. One healthier habit. One heartfelt moment.

That’s the heart behind PICK’D.
Not perfection. Not quick fixes.

Just helping people take one simple step toward better health every single day. 💚

When we created PICK’D POWDERS, one of our biggest decisions wasn’t our packaging or flavor… It was choosing who would grow our microgreens. To us, it was important that they were organic, traceable, and as nutrient dense as they could be.

We spent a lot of time learning about different growing methods before deciding what aligned with our values.
Every farm has its own philosophy, and every company makes decisions based on what matters most to them.

For us, we chose organically grown, soil-grown microgreens because we believe they’re worth investing in. Every growing method has strengths and trade-offs. We wanted to be transparent about how we chose our microgreens and why so you can be as informed no matter what you try 💚🌱

This weekend reminded us that PICK’D has never just been about greens 🌱

It’s about conversations.
It’s about hope.
And about choosing one small habit that helps you take better care of yourself!

Over two days we met hundreds of incredible people. Some were curious. Some were skeptical. Some shared health journeys we’ll never forget! And some came back later to buy after thinking about it.

Every conversation mattered so much more than you know.

As I packed up our booth, I couldn’t stop smiling because a year ago, hardly anyone had heard of PICK’D. Today, thousands of people have.

We still have a long road ahead, but weekends like this remind us that we’re building something bigger than a product.
We’re building a community of people who believe that taking care of your health doesn’t have to be complicated.

We kept waiting until life slowed down.
It never did.

So instead of waiting for “perfect,” we’re choosing to show up anyway.

Over the last several weeks we’ve been preparing for events, talking with retailers, planning production, raising three little ones, and navigating one of the hardest seasons our family has ever walked through.

We haven’t stopped building PICK’D.
We just stopped showing it.
And that changes today.

PICK’D POWDERS started in a season of trying to figure out our busy beautiful chaotic life in the midst of postpartum depression and then battling cancer. It didn’t start because we had it all figured out. It started because we were in survival mode!

Our energy was gone. Health NEEDED to work for the sake of our family. But nothing felt simple anymore.

While we were trying to do lo of the “right” things, we couldn’t stick with any complicated routine and it became overwhelming and unsustainable.

So we started asking ourselves, what would actually fit into our busy life with our family?
And that question changed everything!

PICK’D was built for the people who care about their health... but also have a life to live! Because our lives are busy, beautiful, and a little bit chaotic, and they deserve actual support that works with it. 🌱

Hi, I’m Catherine! I created my very own greens powder but instead of using regular veggies that every other brand uses, I use 100% pure freeze dried microgreens!
