Hey guys! I have some exciting news to share! 🌳💚

I co-founded a nonprofit, Rooted in Resilience!

Rooted in Resilience was created with one mission in mind: to change the culture around asking for support and ensure that those who spend their lives serving others have somewhere to turn when they need it most.

Our board is building something truly special for our first responder, military, and veteran communities and their families.

Our organization will provide:

💚 Mental Health Counseling: Up to five therapy sessions with licensed mental health professionals to help eliminate financial barriers to care.

💚 Peer Assistance Teams: Two separate teams, one for first responders and one for spouses and family members, providing support from people who understand their experiences.

💚 Free Support Groups: A place to connect, share experiences, and know you’re not alone.

💚 An Independent Support Center: A welcoming space with decompression rooms where first responders can step away, reset, and recharge, whether they’re on or off duty.

Our services will also extend to retired first responders, military personnel, veterans, and families.

What makes Rooted in Resilience unique is that we’re bringing all of these resources together under one organization.

This is about more than mental health. It’s about building a community, breaking down barriers, and reminding those who serve that they deserve support, too.

We’re officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we’re just getting started! As we work toward bringing this vision to life, we would love the support of our community through charitable donations, partnerships, and simply helping spread the word.

I’m incredibly excited about what we’re building and the difference we are going to make.

Because even the strongest among us deserve somewhere to put down the weight they carry. 💚

You can handle chaos all day. But why is it so hard to relax when you get home?

You spend your shifts anticipating what could go wrong, making split-second decisions, and being prepared for the unexpected.

Then you get home, and your mind won’t shut off.

You’re irritable. You’re exhausted. The smallest things set you off.

And somehow, sitting in silence feels more uncomfortable than being at work.

That’s what can happen when your nervous system spends too much time in survival mode.

Therapy isn’t about taking away the skills that make you good at your job. It’s about helping you learn when you no longer need to use them.

You deserve to feel like yourself outside of the uniform, too.

If you’re a first responder in Ohio and you’re ready to get started with your healing journey, I have immediate appointment availability.

🌿 SUNDAY RESET

You spend your week showing up for everyone else. Today, give yourself permission to show up for YOU.

For first responders, slowing down isn’t always easy. When you’re used to operating in chaos, being constantly alert, and preparing for the unexpected, even a quiet Sunday can feel uncomfortable.

But here’s your reminder:

💙 You don’t have to be productive every moment.

💛 You don’t have to carry the weight of the week into the next one.

💙 You don’t have to earn your rest.

💛 And you don’t have to wait until you’re burned out to take care of yourself.

Your Sunday Reset:

☕ Slow down and enjoy something for yourself.

🌿 Spend time doing something that brings you peace.

📱 Disconnect from the noise.

🧠 Check in with yourself, not just everyone around you.

❤️ Give yourself permission to simply be.

Rest isn’t weakness. It’s part of resilience.

The calls, the chaos, and the responsibilities will still be there tomorrow. Today, allow yourself to rest, recharge, and reset.

📣 I’m accepting LSWs looking for supervision!

If you’re an LSW in Ohio looking for supportive, practical, and individualized supervision as you work toward independent licensure, I currently have openings!

A little about my background:

I began my career in child welfare, working as both a caseworker and community-based therapist. For the past five years, I’ve worked in private practice, and I’ve owned my own practice for the last two.

Today, I specialize in providing individual therapy to first responders and their family members. I have advanced training in working with:

• Critical incidents and early intervention
• Post-traumatic stress injuries (PTSI)
• Mood disorders
• Trauma and high-stress professions
• First responder mental health and family dynamics

I’m also a proud member of the Jewish community in Central Ohio and am available to provide consultation and support around working with Jewish clients, as well as to Jewish providers who may benefit from additional professional support and understanding.

Supervision Rates
1 hour — $50
2 hours — $85

💻 All supervision is currently virtual.

If you’re looking for a supervisor who values professional growth, clinical development, open conversation, and creating a space where you can ask the hard questions, I’d love to connect.
