Welcome to our new intern, Danielle Rayer, CT. Danni is a counselor trainee with a humanistic approach rooted in creating a safe, compassionate space where every client is honored. Her diverse professional background includes caregiving for seniors and individuals with special needs, as well as extensive experience mentoring teenagers. These roles have shaped her unwavering commitment to walking alongside clients of all backgrounds as they discover their own paths toward wholeness.

Danni believes that while every person’s story is unique, the need to be truly heard is universal. She views the counseling process through a narrative lens—helping clients explore and rewrite the stories that shape their lives to move toward a more fulfilling future.

Danni graduated from The Ohio State University and is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Cornerstone University.

Welcome Kelsey Byrd, LPCC-S
Kelsey is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor supervisor through the state of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Board. She earned a Master of Arts in clinical mental health counseling from University of the Cumberlands and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Coastal Carolina University. Kelsey has experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma. Kelsey maintains a person-centered approach and utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy skills to empower clients to cope with symptoms and adjust to life changes. It is her goal to meet clients where they are and come alongside them as they accomplish personal goals. Kelsey provides telehealth video sessions only.

Welcome to our newest team member, John "Alex" Culver, MA, LPC!

Alex believes counseling is a space for healing, growth, and restoration. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I enjoy walking alongside adolescents and adults as they face challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and self-worth. Every journey should be respected, so I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered to grow. My goal is to foster a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can build insight, develop coping skills, and move toward meaningful change. For clients who wish, I am glad to integrate Christian faith and values into the therapeutic process.
Alex earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Bowling Green State University before obtaining his Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Welcome to our newest counselor, Gina Burdett, MA, LPCC-S!
Gina is a licensed professional clinical counselor supervisor with over 15 years of experience, independently licensed through the State of Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Gina provides trauma-informed counseling to clients who experience posttraumatic stress disorder, trauma, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and personality disorders. Gina is EMDR certified through EMDRIA. Gina also is a master’s addiction counselor, helping clients navigate through all stages of addiction and recovery. Gina received her Bachelor Science degree and Master of Arts degree in Counseling through Liberty University. Gina believes in solution-focused therapy that helps client learn, adapt and practice solutions to maladaptive thoughts and behaviors that impact client’s lives negatively.

Mark Ulfig-Mark is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with adolescents, incarcerated individuals, adults, couples, groups, and clients in active crisis. His clinical focus includes trauma, anxiety, anger management, depression, and grief/loss.

Mark’s approach is person‑centered, grounded in the belief that every individual has the capacity to grow and discover their own answers. He provides a supportive, non‑judgmental environment where clients can explore their experiences, build insight, and move toward meaningful change. Mark works collaboratively with each client, adapting his style to meet their unique needs and goals.

Mark earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Indiana University and his Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. His dedication to the counseling profession is deeply rooted in personal experience, having grown up in a family impacted by mental health challenges and the effects of addiction. These early experiences shaped his commitment to helping others find stability, resilience, and hope.
