What a month August was!

We feel incredibly blessed that so many families trusted us with their care. Every appointment represents a baby, child, mother, or adult who allowed us to be part of their healing journey through craniosacral and fascial therapy.

Our practice has grown almost entirely through word of mouth, and we never take that trust for granted. Thank you for sharing your experiences, recommending us to the people you love, and allowing us to do work that means so much to us.

We are truly honored to care for every family who walks through our doors- and we give God all the glory for what He continues to do through this practice.

Sometimes we need to care for Mom and baby together. Send this to a mom who has been taking care of everyone except herself.

Breastfeeding difficulties aren’t always about milk supply — A baby can gain weight and still have feeding dysfunction.

Save this if feeding has felt harder than you expected. If you’re in the Fort Worth, Texas area and would like support, book an appointment with us at Collins Fascial Therapy. We have offices in Rhome and Willow Park and would love to care for you and your baby.

Which of these signs did you notice in your baby?

Hi, I’m Chelsea. I’m a pediatric RN, IBCLC, craniosacral and fascial therapist, and the owner of Collins Fascial Therapy.

I originally found this work because of my own baby. He was uncomfortable, fussy, bruised from birth, and struggling with oral tension. We tried other things, but craniosacral and fascial therapy was what finally helped us begin seeing meaningful changes.

That experience completely changed the direction of my life. I began training in this work because I wanted other families to have another option besides being told, “They’ll grow out of it,” or feeling like they had already tried everything.

I’m also incredibly grateful to have another bodyworker in our practice, Kristie. She is a massage therapist, postpartum doula, lactation counselor, and craniosacral and fascial bodyworker. She brings years of experience supporting mothers and babies, and she has her own personal story of how she found this work and why she felt called to offer it to other families. I’ll let her share more of that story with you soon.

Together, we care for babies, children, pregnant and postpartum moms, and adult women. Our heart is for every person who walks through our doors to feel seen, heard, and supported while we look beyond the immediate symptom and consider what the whole body may be telling us.

Over the next 30 days, we’re going to show our faces and help you understand who we are, what we do, who we help, and what whole-body care can look like.

Tell us below: What would you like to learn more about during these 30 days? Drop them in the comments below.

Did you know that some of the tension patterns we see after birth may begin before labor ever starts?

A baby who spends weeks in a cramped, asymmetrical, or less-than-ideal position may be born carrying tension through the fascia, neck, jaw, pelvis, and tissues surrounding the cranial bones.

After birth, those patterns may show up as:

• A strong head-turn preference
• Torticollis or body asymmetry
• Difficulty turning the head equally both ways
• Feeding or latch difficulties
• Fussiness or difficulty settling
• Colic-like symptoms
• Discomfort during tummy time or in the car seat
• Head-shape concerns

In-utero positioning is not the cause of every symptom, but it can be an important piece of your baby’s story.

Prenatal craniosacral and fascial therapy gently addresses tension around Mom’s uterus, pelvis, sacrum, and p***c bone- supporting greater balance and mobility as her body prepares for birth.

Caring for Mom during pregnancy can help create a more balanced environment for Baby before they ever enter the world.
