Get to know me!😆I’m a senior at TCNJ, and this internship has been my very first. I’ve loved every second of building Fluehr’s online presence and getting to know the family behind it. When I’m not creating content, you’ll probably find me listening to music, swimming, or out at the field with my golden retrievers, Auggie and Sonny. 3 U.S Presidents passed on July 4th. John Adams, the second president died on July 4, 1826, at the age of 90 in Quincy, Massachusetts. His death occurred on the 50th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Thomas Jefferson: The 3rd president died on July 4, 1826, at the age of 83 at his Monticello estate in Virginia. He passed away just hours before Adams on the exact same 50th anniversary of the Declaration. James Monroe: The 5th president died on July 4, 1831, at the age of 73 in New York City.

The funeral procession in New York City for Ulysses S. Grant in 1885 drew an estimated 1.5 million people, the largest demonstration in the country to that point.
Grant, who as a general led the Union to victory in the Civil War, was buried in Riverside Park on Manhattan’s Upper West Side in a temporary tomb until a mausoleum was constructed in his honor and completed in 1897. It remains the largest mausoleum in North America to this day.
