🫁☀️ Summer Respiratory Fact for Our Team
Did you know? If you’re walking and find yourself too winded to comfortably carry on a conversation, your body may be trying to tell you something.
Many people assume shortness of breath is just part of getting older, being out of shape, or the summer heat—but it can sometimes be an early sign of a respiratory or heart condition.
This can affect anyone—even people who seem healthy.
Now imagine how this can affect our residents, many of whom already have underlying health conditions. A small change in breathing, activity tolerance, or energy level may be one of the first signs that something is wrong.
As caregivers, paying attention to these subtle changes can make a big difference.
Sometimes our lungs whisper before they scream. Let’s continue to watch, listen, and act early for the residents who count on us every day. 🫁❤️
