The more you explore and feel comfortable with the shapes and sounds during pregnancy, the less you’ll feel “weird” or “self conscious” about it during labor.

Labor is a time to get OUT OF YOUR HEAD and get INTO YOUR BODY. If you’re used to being “in your body” you’ll be able to drop in that much more easier to journey to labor land!

Friends, when your body understands and recognizes something, it can soften into it. If it’s your first baby, you may be anticipating what contractions feel like and how you’ll respond. And you can’t “feel” an active labor contraction when you’re not in labor.

But what you CAN feel is exploring shapes during pregnancy. And if you know what they feel like in your body NOW, you’ll have less hesitancy to move into them during labor.

Less resistance = more flow.

Prenatal yoga offers that space and opportunity. 😉
